IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Nowadays famous people are photographed by professional photographers everywhere they go. Some people say this is a good thing because the public are interested in their lives. Other people think that photographers are wrong to follow famous people.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Paparazzi culture has drastically grown in a very recent time .Some people believe, its cool to see when celebrities get photographed by the professionals while the others think its not right to follow the celebrities.The upcoming paragraph will discuss the both views and will give you my own opinion.
To initiate with,paparazzis ,when follow the famous people to capture their photos or videos , its totally invade to their personal life which is a right of every individual.It can effect them emotionally and mentally too.For example,in a recent time, most of the celebrities leaving or taking breaks from the social media because of the common reason its intruping their privacy.In my opinion, its a basic right of every invidual to live their life how they want to and they should.
On the other hand, folks who are very interested in their favourite celebritie's life and they want to know everything about them.They can pay any amount just to see a glance of their favourite ones.It automatically give employment to paparazzi and help them to grow more day by day.For instance, a recent study showed that paparazzi and the social media culture has by 90 percent in this decade as compare to last one.In my opinion,their should be a line between getting photographed by your own wish and invading someone's privade life.
To conclude with, balance is important in everything.celebrities are not the public property.Their privacy should be respected.its their decision to get papped or not . it
