Student answer (Band 5.0)

Professional phtographers has been affecting the life of many celebrities with clicking their unnecessary images at public places. While some peple support the idea as public have interest in their livestyle and other opposing this idea and state that it is not a good option for the famous people. I firmly believe that taking photographs of actors and singers can increasingly impact their live in a worst way.

Firstly, It effects privacy of the reputed artists and their family members and creates hurdles in their personal life. This means celebrities cannot able to attend any function and event safely, as media disturb them in any kind where they visit. Additionally, actors and singers do not concentrate on the performance when the camera flashlight blinks because it distract them from their work.

Conversely, it is true that normal people treat famous artists as a role model and photographers help them to provide with the different things related to their life. Youngsters can generally try to copy their habits so they are more interested and photographers

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5

The response addresses both views regarding the paparazzi following celebrities and gives a clear personal opinion. However, the essay is incomplete and ends abruptly mid-sentence in the third paragraph ("so they are more interested and photographers..."). Furthermore, the length check confirms that the response contains only 174 words, which falls significantly short of the 250-word minimum requirement for Task 2. Because the ideas are underdeveloped and the text is heavily under-length, the response receives a Band 4.5 for Task Achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, and the writer attempts to use basic cohesive devices such as "Firstly" and "Conversely" to structure the arguments. However, the overall progression is disrupted because the essay is truncated at the end. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the lack of a proper conclusion impacts the overall organization. Cohesion is functional at a basic level, but the unfinished nature of the text limits the score to a Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is adequate for basic communication, featuring words like "celebrities," "privacy," and "role model." However, there are several noticeable lexical and spelling errors, such as "phtographers" instead of photographers, "livestyle" instead of lifestyle, and awkward phrasing like "impact their live in a worst way." The range is limited and repetition occurs, placing the lexical resource at a Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the grammar is marred by frequent errors. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ("Professional phtographers has been affecting"), modal verb errors ("celebrities cannot able to attend"), and word form errors ("It effects privacy" instead of affects). These errors cause some difficulty for the reader, although basic meaning is usually conveyed. This corresponds to a Band 5.0.
