Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, there is a trend going on in which celebrities are captured by professional cameraman when ever they spotted in public or anywhere else in the city. Some group of individiual thinks it is a good idea to capture them as public is keen intrested in their life styles.Whereas, other people argues that it is not good capture anyone without their consent. I would like to give my opinion and want to descibe both the approaches in the ensuing paragraphs.
On the one hand, The media and photographers are always following the celebrities when they spotted them outside because they notice that people are influenced by their personal lives. Moreover, this platfroms are gaining good source of income as well as TRP in their production house for capturing famous people.Consequently, public were intersted to know their life so they can immitate in thier own life. The photographed pictures only depicts the good part of their life and public wold not able to see the other side.Additionally, cameraman capture the photos, videos and personal life moments for gaining the publicity and for their incom. For example, cricketer Ms.Dhoni is going to dubai for international metting this headline gives millions of views and likes and attension of public.
On the other hand, every one has their own life and rules to live it fully. It is an unethical approach to capture someone withour their permission. Person need privacy in their own life and they do not want to share their personal moments with pulic.Furthermore, consent is important factor when it comes to caprute or record someone whithout asking them. For instance,The goverment should set up strict law agiainst consent capture.
In my opinion, I think we need to give a space to famous people to live their personal lives with their familes and if media wants to show professional life then is good but with their permission.
To sum up, Always keep the personal and professional life different as it can affects both career and life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that photographing celebrities is good because of public interest, and that it is wrong due to privacy concerns—and includes the writer's own opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the first body paragraph mentions public interest and media income multiple times without introducing fresh supporting points. The conclusion is also repetitive, reiterating points already made. The position is generally clear, but the support lacks depth and relies on broad generalisations rather than fully extended arguments. Consequently, this performance aligns best with Band 5.5, rounded to 6.0 for addressing all components of the prompt adequately.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay demonstrates an overall logical arrangement with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs representing opposing views, an opinion paragraph, and a brief conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate ideas. However, cohesion at the sentence level is often faulty or mechanical. Words and phrases like 'Nowadays', 'In recent years', 'On the one hand', and 'On the other hand' are used, but referencing is sometimes unclear, and cohesive devices are awkwardly placed or repetitive, such as 'cameraman capture' and abrupt transitions between sentences. There are also issues with logical progression within paragraphs, as ideas tend to loop back on themselves rather than move forward smoothly. This fits the Band 5.5 profile closely, leading to a score of 5.5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'consent', 'unethical', and 'publicity'. However, there are frequent word-choice and spelling errors that detract from the precision of the writing, such as 'cameraman' instead of 'cameramen', 'intrested' instead of 'interested', 'platfroms' instead of 'platforms', 'immitate' instead of 'imitate', 'wold' instead of 'would', and 'incom' instead of 'income'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur regularly throughout the text, preventing the vocabulary score from reaching a higher band. Therefore, a score of 5.5 is appropriate for this level of lexical control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The text contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and tense consistency, such as 'there is a trend going on in which celebrities are captured... when ever they spotted', 'public were intersted', and 'every one has their own life'. Punctuation and article usage are also problematic, with missing articles ('give a space', 'important factor') and run-on or awkwardly structured sentences. Although the meaning can generally be parsed, the frequency of errors places this response firmly in the Band 5 category, as the attempted complex structures are frequently faulty and strain the reader at times.
