Student answer (Band 5.5)
In these days, celebrities are captured by expert photographs all the where they go. Some people say this is a great thing because the public are interested in their life. Other people think that photographers are wrong to follow famous people. I will discuss the both sides in the upcoming paragraph along with my opinion.
Commercing with the main reason which justify that capturing famous stars are wrong to follow by photographers. The most prominent one is that following actor, actress by photographers and click their photos videos and publish on internet and news papers which highly impact on youth who see stars as their role models. When they see their lifestyle the youth also want to copy them want same lifestyle in their life alsol, but celebrities lifestyle is very rich luxury lifestyle. This is not a good impact on youngsters. Apart from this, also this is bad for celebrities their private life also reveale with everyone when photographers keep following them at every place. Stars do not have any privacy they go any where and paps are keep following them which is irritate them so much but they are famous they mostly do not say anything to them.
However, the people who like celebrities and want to see their daily lifestyle what they do where they go for them photographers are really good they appreciate to photographers that they doing great job to capture famous people. Apart from this, many stars want that photographers will capture them whenever they go anywhere, some stars like to live all the time in highlight in news everywhere. So they like when photographers keep following them.
In conclusion, although in my opinion this is not a good thing to keep tracking stars all the time, their private life totally ruined with all of this and its also bad impact on youth they want same lifestyle like celebrities. So photographers need to be in limit to take their photos and videos not 24 hours clicking is a good thing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on paparazzi culture and providing a personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. The ideas are relevant, exploring the negative impact of celebrity culture on youth and privacy, alongside the counterarguments regarding public interest and celebrities who welcome attention. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, particularly in the body paragraphs where points about youth influence and privacy are restated rather than deeply extended. Furthermore, the phrasing used to signal the essay structure, such as 'I will discuss the both sides in the upcoming paragraph', represents a somewhat mechanical approach. Overall, the task is addressed adequately, placing this response at Band 6.0 according to the criteria.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs representing opposing views, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised appropriately to separate main ideas. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. Transition markers like 'Commercing with' (a misuse of commencing/commerce) and 'Apart from this' are used awkwardly. Additionally, referencing and pronoun use can be confusing, as seen in sentences like 'this is bad for celebrities their private life also reveale with everyone'. While the overarching progression is discernible, the lack of smooth, accurate cohesive devices pulls the score for this criterion to a Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited and displays noticeable errors. The student attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'prominent', 'role models', and 'luxury lifestyle', but frequent word choice and collocation errors impede clarity. Examples include 'expert photographs' instead of 'professional photographers', 'click their photos' instead of 'take their pictures', and 'live all the time in highlight'. There are also recurrent morphological errors like 'reveale' and misuse of terms like 'Commercing'. Because these vocabulary errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader and show restricted flexibility, the response warrants a Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including tense inconsistencies, missing prepositions, run-on sentences, and fragment errors. For instance, 'want same lifestyle in their life alsol, but celebrities lifestyle is very rich luxury lifestyle' demonstrates poor clause connection and punctuation. Other errors include 'paps are keep following them' and 'they go any where'. While the meaning can generally be understood, the high frequency of basic and complex structural errors places this writing firmly at a Band 5.0.
