Student answer (Band 5.5)

In these days, professional photographer use to follow famous personalities as it would be beneficial for public because they want to know more about their life because their real appearance hits differently to see their fashion sense and relationships and most important their behaviour. but it can reduce their privacy and sometimes they can be misunderstood. so I would like to raise my opinion based on both views in upcoming paragraphs.

on the one hand, there are several reasons behind professional photographer are very keen to capture every moment of famous personalities wherever they see them. first of all, they provide real life appearance to the public along with their fashion, style of behaving and with whom they are getting involved. For example, when celebrities go out for gym or entertainment in malls or other picnic spot, people get to know about their preferences and follow their preferences because they consider them their idol. Moreover, this is best way to get publicity of current and forthcoming projects when photographers capture them on premier or promotion. so it helps them to promote itself.

On the other hand, photographer take the photos of celebrities constantly wherever they go can have drawbacks as it is the main reason of invasion of their private life because sometime they hide some personal facts and decision but by following them by camera can impact their private moments such as the famous indian personalities the ambani families usually gets captured wherever they go recent their pictures, vedio went viral while worshiping to god but they do not want to expose that which religion they belong to. so it spoiled their personal time. In addition to them, sometime situation makes misunderstanding because they are supposed to do different thing and by photographing shows different situation.

Conclusion, it is common nowdays to follow celebrities everywhere by media as public get chance to have more entertainment by knowing their life personally. Althougth, it effects on their personal moment sometime by exposing their sensetive topic and misconception also can take place by photography in certain situtation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses both views required by the prompt—that photographing celebrities is good due to public interest and that it is wrong because it invades privacy—and presents a personal opinion in the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and lacks deep extension. For instance, the example of the Ambani family attempting to hide their religious practices is relevant, but the explanation remains slightly confused and conversational. The position is generally clear throughout, but the arguments would benefit from greater elaboration and more precise real-world examples to fully meet the higher band descriptors. Overall, the task is adequately addressed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay is structured into distinct paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs discussing opposing views, and a conclusion. Logical organisation is visible, as the writer uses basic signposts such as "on the one hand" and "on the other hand" to transition between viewpoints. However, cohesion at the sentence level is often mechanical or faulty. There are run-on sentences and punctuation issues—such as starting sentences with lowercase letters and improper comma splices—which hinder smooth progression. Paragraphing is present, but internal referencing and logical flow can be disjointed at times.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms such as "personalities," "publicity," and "misunderstood." However, there are frequent word-choice and collocation inaccuracies, such as "professional photographer use to follow," "style of behaving," and "exposure of their sensetive topic." Attempts at less common vocabulary sometimes result in awkward phrasing. Spelling errors, such as "althougth," "situtation," and "vedio," occur, though they generally do not impede overall communication. The lexical range is minimally sufficient to convey the intended points.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ("photographer take the photos" instead of "photographers take photos") and tense inconsistencies. Many sentences are overly long and lack proper punctuation boundaries, resulting in run-on structures that make the text harder to follow. While the writer attempts complex structures, these attempts frequently contain errors. The frequency of grammatical inaccuracies places the response firmly within the Band 5 category.
