Student answer (Band 6.0)
These days it has been noticed that majority of famous person are being captured continuously by the professional photographers while they come out of their home or anywhere they roam around. There are few views that this might be a good thing whereas some believe that it is not right to follow them everywhere they go.
To begin with, the well trained photographers who just work for this and give public an update about the well known people, is a good thing because they are the one's who is sharing the latest information about their lives. By this means only, we are able to know what is going on around us. Also, these are the well known actors, who have done something to earn the fame; therefore, they deserve to be get captured and get attention by the professional photographers. Furthermore, as a public, we are keen to know about such people life stories and what is happening with them.
On the other hand, it seems like it is not a good thing to follow them continuously. Despite being a well known people, they do have their own personal life, where they have their own freedom to live. If everything goes public about their daily routines, there are chances of being judged and have false impressions. Apart from this, they have some privacy and it totally depends on them if they want to share it with public or not.
To conclude this, there are mixed opinions on taking photographs of famous people by professional photographers is wrong or right, I believe that capturing pictures is a right thing if it is with a consent because everyone should respect the person's own privacy about their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that photographing famous people satisfies public interest and that it violates privacy—while also presenting a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. Your ideas are relevant, such as noting that celebrities earn their fame and deserve attention, balanced against the argument that they need personal freedom and face false impressions. However, some of these ideas remain somewhat under-developed rather than fully extended. For instance, the point about public interest could have been supported with a clearer example regarding media culture. To reach the next level, ensure that every main idea is thoroughly elaborated with deeper explanation and concrete examples, and refine your position so it is maintained with greater depth throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs and conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different viewpoints, such as the opening introduction, the arguments supporting the photographers in the second paragraph, and the opposing privacy arguments in the third. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude this' to guide the reader through the text. However, cohesion can occasionally feel mechanical, and referencing is not always completely clear, such as the vague pronoun use in phrases like 'By this means only'. To improve further, work on more seamless transitions between sentences and ensure that referencing pronouns explicitly connect to their intended antecedents for smoother flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task and permits the communication of your main arguments, employing general terms like 'professional photographers', 'latest information', and 'personal freedom'. You attempt some less common vocabulary items such as 'well trained photographers' and 'false impressions', but these are accompanied by noticeable word-choice inaccuracies and awkward collocations, such as writing 'majority of famous person' instead of 'persons' or 'people', and 'deserve to be get captured'. Spelling is generally acceptable, but lexical control lacks precision and flexibility. To elevate your score in this area, you should expand your range of less common lexical items, pay closer attention to natural word partnerships and collocations, and ensure grammatical forms of words fit their contexts accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The essay displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt to use relative clauses and conditional structures. You show control over basic structures and punctuation, and many sentences communicate your meaning clearly. Nevertheless, there are frequent errors in grammar and mechanics that persist throughout the text, such as agreement errors ('majority of famous person', 'is the one's who is sharing'), awkward passive voice constructions ('deserve to be get captured'), and minor prepositional misuse. While these errors rarely impede overall communication, they prevent the text from achieving a higher level of accuracy. To progress, focus on eliminating basic grammatical slip-ups, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and mastering complex sentence patterns so that a higher proportion of your sentences are completely error-free.
