Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, photography plays a vital role in everyone's life. Even, professional photographers follow the famous personalities for their shoots everywhere they go. A large number of individuals argue that it disturbs their privacy and personal time whereas other think that it helps the pubic who are interested in their lives. This essay will discuss both views with my own opinion because it has pros and cons of being famous.
To begin with, people are thrilled to get to know about the famous people lives. Moreover, media and cameramen are always aroung them for capturing their pictures because they want to represent their personality between their fans. As a result, the public gets update of their favourite person. Furthermore, if famous people are captured by professional photographers, it shows their true identity which helps people to get aware whom they are following. For example, photographers reveals the true faces of famous people with the help of their camera. As a result, it helps all the individuals to follow a person with good ambitions and choose a good leader for their inspiration.
However, if media follow the famous people everywhere they go, it disturbs their privacy. This means that, famous personalities are also human beings, they also want their personal space to live their lifes. Moreover, sometimes they do not want to reveal their personal life to public. For example, Famous individuals wants to hide their personal data from public due to being afraid of evil eye. As a result, they do not live their lives like a normal human being.
To conclude, I believe that public has to give space to famous people. So, they can enjoy their life with their families without being afraid of cameras because they are also human being and wants to live their life like a normal person. It is also important for the public to understand the privacy of the famous people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task, discussing both the benefits of photographing famous people and the privacy concerns, while also presenting a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and uneven. For instance, the argument that photographers help the public choose good leaders is introduced in the second body paragraph, but it remains under-developed and lacks robust supporting examples. Similarly, the reasoning in the third paragraph regarding privacy relies on repetitive points rather than expanding into broader social or legal contexts. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to extend and fully support their arguments with deeper explanations and more specific, real-world examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear central topic running through each paragraph. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the introduction, the two opposing views, and the conclusion. There is a clear progression of ideas, with standard cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'However,' and 'To conclude' helping to guide the reader through the text. However, referencing is sometimes unclear, and certain cohesive devices feel slightly mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'As a result.' To improve further, the writer should employ a wider and more flexible variety of transitional phrases and ensure that pronouns and reference words link back smoothly to preceding ideas without becoming overly formulaic.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is minimally adequate for the task, providing enough range to discuss the topic of celebrity privacy and media attention. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items, such as 'personal space' and 'true identity,' but there are noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word form that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include phrases like 'famous people lives' instead of 'famous people's lives,' 'represent their personality between their fans,' and 'photographers reveals' where subject-verb agreement is affected by lexical confusion. Additionally, spelling and word formation issues appear, such as 'pubic' instead of 'public' and 'aroung' instead of 'around.' To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their vocabulary range and improve precision in collocation and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The response displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt at varied structures such as conditional clauses ('if famous people are captured...'). However, the grammatical range remains limited, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently marred by errors in articles, prepositions, plurals, and subject-verb agreement. Examples of these issues include 'follow the famous personalities,' 'other think that,' and 'famous individuals wants.' Punctuation errors also occur, such as missing spaces after periods and a fused sentence in the final paragraph. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to cause some difficulty for the reader. Greater control over complex sentence patterns and meticulous proofreading are needed to elevate the grammar score.
