Student answer (Band 5.5)

Professional photographers clicks photos of reowned people everywhere they go in contemporary time. Some individuals thinks this is an ideal because the civilians ae getting interested in their lives. While, other thinks that it is not a right thing to follow famous people. In my opinion, public figures have their personal lives so taking pictures of them may spoil their privacy. However, they may gain popularity via photographers and make their fans following bigger.

Celebrities are working in a sector where they used to be on camera but during their personal time they do not prefer to come up. They need privacy that make their life easy rather than crowded. For example, an Indian actoress "Anushka Sharma" lived in abroad because she didnot get privacy in India. She refused to come up but still paparazzi took her photo. So, after getting married, she settle down with her family in London.

Super star like "Priyanka Chopra" likes fam and that is the reason she have a more than 20 millions followers nowadays. She likes to post all the things in the social media and prefer to appear in front of camera without shooting time which gives her more popularity. For instance, She got married with an American guy who is also a famous singer "Nick Jonus". She begins her footstep from bollywood to hollywood just because of her hard work and fam.

In concusion, famous people have their own life where they prefer live peacefully. The policy makers needs to create a policy in which they provide all freedom to the reowned person whether they would like to click pictures by photographer or not.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You addressed all parts of the task by discussing both views—that photographing famous people satisfies public interest and that it violates personal privacy—and you clearly stated your own opinion. However, some ideas remained somewhat under-developed. For example, your point about celebrities gaining popularity through photographers was introduced in the introduction and touched upon later, but it lacked deeper elaboration. Similarly, the second body paragraph relies heavily on a single specific example without fully explaining the broader implications of the two perspectives. To reach a higher level, you need to extend and support your arguments with more thorough reasoning and fully developed examples throughout every paragraph.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

Your essay has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an attempt to structure your ideas logically. However, the cohesion is sometimes mechanical and referencing is not always clear. For instance, transitional phrases like 'While, other thinks' and 'In concusion' feel rigid or contain typographical errors. Furthermore, pronouns and referencing words do not always clearly point back to their intended subjects, such as in the sentence about Priyanka Chopra where the flow between sentences stumbles slightly. To improve, you should ensure smoother transitions between sentences and paragraphs and use a wider variety of cohesive devices more naturally.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You used an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'contemporary time', 'civilians', and 'public figures'. However, there are noticeable word-choice errors and spelling mistakes—such as 'reowned' for renowned, 'actoress' for actress, 'fam' for fame, 'Jonus' for Jonas, and 'concusion' for conclusion—that reflect a limited control over less common lexical items. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they highlight a restricted lexical precision. To progress further, you need to expand your vocabulary range and pay much closer attention to word forms, collocations, and accurate spelling.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You demonstrated a mix of simple and complex sentence forms in your response, attempting structures such as conditional and relative clauses. Nevertheless, your writing contains some errors in grammar and punctuation, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'Some individuals thinks', incorrect article usage, and prepositions inside grammatical patterns. Although these errors rarely impede communication, they indicate that your control over complex structures is still developing. To achieve a higher standard, you should focus on increasing the frequency of error-free sentences by refining your control over verb tenses, plurals, and fundamental sentence construction.
