Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this modern world, celebrities are being photographed by professional photographers anywhere they go. Some people believe that it is a positive thing as the public are interested in their lives and stay updated, whereas other people think that photographers are doing a wrong thing by following famous people because there will be no privacy. This essay will discuss both views in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with the positive side, influencers are role models of people. Public follow these high-profile figures in all aspects like fashion, fitness and styling. By getting photographs of public figures, public stay updated and try to follow their lifestyle. It is a win-win situation for both sides, by pictures celebrities get more famous and get more fan following and cameraman also earn more money through these pictures and scget more work assignments.
On the other hand, it has negative impacts, high profile people are not able to live a normal life. They are unable to take part in several activities because of lack in the privacy. There are certain scenarios that should not be recorded like family dinners, hospital visits or during shopping. If any inappropriate pictures are being clicked by photographers it can ruin the image of celebrity and can have bad impact on their career.
To conclude, though public is interested in famous people lives, photographers should take permission of celebrity before clicking their picture that will keep the privacy and public will be also happy with pictures that they see.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on celebrity photography and presenting your own opinion in the conclusion. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed, which keeps the score at this level. For instance, while you mention that influencers act as role models for 'fashion, fitness and styling,' this point is not fully extended with specific explanations or examples. Furthermore, your conclusion merely states that photographers should ask for permission rather than deeply synthesizing the arguments presented. Please note that the length requirement of 250 words was not met, as your response contains 248 words, falling slightly short of the minimum threshold.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
Your essay displays a coherent overall arrangement and logical progression, easily earning the lower band, while also incorporating elements of the next band through clear paragraphing and basic organizational structures. You successfully use standard opening phrases such as 'To begin with the positive side' and 'On the other hand' to guide the reader through the distinct viewpoints. However, your cohesion sometimes feels mechanical or repetitive, particularly in how sentences are linked together. For example, referencing phrases like 'getting photographs of public figures, public stay updated' lack smooth transitional glue, and pronoun referencing in sentences such as 'that will keep the privacy' is slightly unclear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully using common terms related to the topic such as 'high-profile figures,' 'role models,' and 'inappropriate pictures.' You attempt less common vocabulary items like 'win-win situation' and 'scget' (a typographical error for 'secure'), but these attempts are occasionally marred by inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as saying 'get more fan following' instead of 'build a larger following.' Spelling and word-choice errors like these do not heavily impede communication, but they restrict your score because the vocabulary remains somewhat limited and repetitive rather than consistently flexible.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms throughout the essay, utilizing structures such as 'Some people believe that it is a positive thing as...' and conditional phrasing like 'If any inappropriate pictures are being clicked...' There are some errors in grammar and punctuation, such as missing articles ('lack in the privacy' instead of 'a lack of privacy' and 'take permission of celebrity' instead of 'permission from celebrities'), but these errors rarely impede communication. The presence of these structural lapses alongside your mix of sentence types means your control aligns well with this band level, featuring noticeable errors without reaching the frequency associated with lower bands.
