Student answer (Band 5.5)

These days every information passes so fast due to all time media availability. As, photographers are always running behind the celebrities. Some people think it is good to know about the professional people lives. Whilst other think photographers uncessarily follow famous people everywhere they go. This essay analyses both the view and my opinion.

First and foremost, celebrities like to be stay in fame. The photographers are always ready to capture the famous figures and wanted to know what they are doing new in their lives, so that they can spread such information to the general public. To illustarte, photographers are running behind famous personalities beacuse pubic take intreset in their lives. This also help photographers to increase their profession. Alike, if a person like somebody from sports, he or she like to follow their diet, workout routine and take a keen interest in their lives. This is only possible through media.

On the other hand, some people mentioned that always following a famous people is not right. For example, there are several private occassions or issues which celebrities do not want to reveal to public. If a famous figure is on vacation with their famliy, they do not want to ruin their trip with the constant interruption of photographers. In addition, they need some relaxation time with their families and friends.

In my opinion, famous people always want to be in front of camera to gain more popularity. Whereas, following them all the time is not an ideal option. Everybody needs a break from their professional life. So, photographers should only capture famous people when they are on show or on film events. They should not take photos when they are not professionally involved.

Overall, photographers are in huge demand as every body wants more fame. It is good to take photos and videos of famous people when they are on screen. This should be avoid during their personal times.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both perspectives and give a clear personal view: public interest can support photographers’ work, while constant attention can intrude on celebrities’ private lives. The examples about fans following athletes’ diets and a family vacation help make the discussion relevant. Your conclusion also gives a practical boundary, suggesting photographs should be taken at shows or film events rather than during private time. However, the first view is less fully explained: the claim that celebrities “like to be stay in fame” is broad and does not clearly establish why public interest makes following them beneficial. Develop the distinction between reporting on public appearances and pursuing people in private, and explain the consequences of intrusion more fully to make the ideas more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. The contrast between “First and foremost” and “On the other hand” helps readers follow the discussion, and the examples generally appear in relevant places. This meets the expected level of logical organisation, with some evidence of flexible progression. However, links can feel mechanical or unclear: “Alike” does not accurately introduce the example about sports fans, and “This also help” has an unclear reference. The opinion paragraph and conclusion also repeat the idea that photographers should avoid private occasions. Use more precise referencing and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports; this would make cohesion smoother and less repetitive.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “general public,” “private occasions,” “constant interruption,” and “professional life.” These expressions help communicate the main ideas, and there is some attempt to use less common language. However, the range and control are limited by repeated or imprecise wording, such as “famous people,” “lives,” and “photographers,” as well as awkward combinations like “running behind” and “in huge demand.” Spelling errors such as “uncessarily,” “illustarte,” and “intreset” are noticeable and can distract the reader. Aim for accurate collocations and a wider set of topic-specific terms, for example “pursue celebrities,” “media coverage,” and “public figures.” Proofreading spelling and word forms will also make your meaning easier to follow.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional example (“If a famous figure is on vacation…”) and a contrast beginning “Whereas.” The main ideas are usually understandable, but control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. Examples include “every information passes,” “celebrities like to be stay,” and “This also help photographers,” where agreement or verb forms are incorrect. There are also problems with articles and sentence boundaries, as in “a famous people” and the run-together “celebrities. Some people.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, though the overall message remains clear. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, articles, and punctuation, and build complex sentences around one clearly expressed main idea.
