Student answer (Band 5.5)

Due to state-of-art technology people will put everything on social media. Many people think that photographed clicked by professionals are better and more attractive. People follows celebrities and their lifestyles. However, some of them say that it is wrong to follow stars without there permission and not giving them a private space. I opine that photographer should not follow famous people everywhere. In this essay I shall discuss both the points.

Nowadays, everybody can easily access there own phones and they can easily make a video or click a pic of celebrity, due to that famous people cannot leave there personal life with serenity. For example, people and reporters follows all the stars everywhere and they can click there pictures to promote there channel or newspaper and they will get a good rating but sometimes actors get uncomfortable if photographer take pictures from weird angle. Furthermore, actors cannot go out without security and they can behave like a normal people. To illustrate, MS dhoni a famous indian cricketer cannot leave a normal person life and there every special moment will expose by this photographers to everyone.

On the otherhand, Some support this and think that actors and actress have to click pictures by professional so they can put on there social media and they can get a good money in return of posting that. Some people keep following stars and they also want to leave a life like there idoel. For example, Kendall jenner almost post everything on social media and this professional guys follow her at everyplace.

To conclude that, It is not good to follow famous actors or sports-person everywhere and we should also give them space to live there own life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you believe photographers should not follow famous people everywhere, and you give reasons linked to privacy and discomfort. You also present the opposing view that professional photographs can be shared on social media and attract public interest. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The first view receives several points, but the explanation of why the public’s interest makes this practice acceptable is brief, and the Kendall Jenner example does not clearly show the benefits of professional photographers. Some claims, such as celebrities being unable to live normally, would be stronger with clearer explanation or a more specific example. Develop both sides more evenly and connect each example directly to the argument it supports.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the overall arrangement easy to follow, and signposts such as “For example,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude” help show relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and some links are unclear. For instance, the opening moves from technology and social media to the quality of professional photographs without explaining the connection. References such as “this photographers” and “that” also make it harder to identify exactly what is being discussed. Use clearer topic sentences and link each supporting detail explicitly to the paragraph’s main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “personal life,” “security,” “uncomfortable,” and “social media,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning awkward: “photographed clicked by professionals,” “get a good money,” and “leave a normal person life” are examples. Spelling and word forms also need attention, as in “idoel” and “sports-person.” Aim to use precise topic language such as “paparazzi,” “privacy,” “publicity,” and “intrusive,” while checking that words fit naturally together. Replacing repeated basic expressions with accurate alternatives will make your argument clearer and more fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if,” and “that.” This gives you some variety, but complex sentences are often not controlled accurately, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “People follows,” “reporters follows,” and “actors and actress have to click,” where subject–verb agreement or number is incorrect. There are also problems with articles, possessives, and sentence construction, as in “without there permission” and “they can behave like a normal people.” Practise building accurate sentences first, then extend them with one clear subordinate clause. Careful proofreading for agreement, articles, and punctuation would improve control.
