Student answer (Band 5.5)

Public figures personal lives is being photographed everywhere they are going by professional artists. In my opinion I agree that media is interested in their lives. However, I also believe that everyone deserves their personal space and even celebrities should be given their space.

Most people believe that it is totally okay to capture every moment of celebrities. This gives the world taste of fun dramatic real life stories which incourage the media to capture more of their personal moments. This does highly benefit the celebrities and give them a whole amount of fame fans and deliver assist towards them for their future goals.

From my perspective public figures only want to be on camera when they are prepared for it and during their performances following that when the television media and different channels labourers show up in their public event which they are trying to perform personally it seems to trigger them which is basic human nature.

Further more these days personal recordings that go viral on social media of any influential individual it is highly detrimental towards their mental health and personal life. Not giving one a personal space can effortlessly bring multiple complications to life. minor acts if filming stars turns into far reaching ones which is not safe towards any human being.

On balance, I believe that keeping everything to a limit should be normalised and the population should understand that public figures also deserve their personal space. Not only this but also media should avoid making false rumours about any celebrities keeping track of mental health.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You present a clear view that celebrities deserve privacy, and you also refer to the opposing argument that public interest encourages photographers to capture their lives. Your discussion of viral recordings and possible harm to mental health is relevant, as is your conclusion that limits should be set. However, the benefits of public attention are not explained convincingly: the claim that it “benefit[s] the celebrities” and helps their “future goals” needs a clearer reason or example. The opposing view is also described mainly as people enjoying dramatic stories, rather than being explored in depth. Develop both sides more evenly and support the claims with a specific example to make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the views, and a concluding position. This gives the reader an overall sense of direction, and phrases such as “From my perspective” and “On balance” help signal your stance. However, some links between ideas are unclear or mechanical. For example, “This gives the world taste of fun dramatic real life stories” does not clearly connect the public’s interest to the claimed benefits for celebrities. The paragraph beginning “From my perspective” combines several points in one long sentence, making the reasoning harder to follow. Use clearer topic sentences, divide complex ideas into shorter units, and make references such as “This” and “them” unambiguous.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “public figures,” “personal space,” “viral,” and “detrimental,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at less common expressions, but several choices or combinations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “professional artists” for photographers, “a whole amount of fame fans,” and “labourers” for media workers. Spelling errors such as “incourage” also reduce accuracy. These issues sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to interpret, particularly in the paragraph about the benefits of publicity. Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling; using simpler but accurate wording is preferable to an ambitious phrase that does not fit.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at more complex structures, including “because the public are interested in their lives” and “when they are prepared for it.” However, control is inconsistent, and some sentence structures make the meaning difficult to follow. The opening, “Public figures personal lives is being photographed,” has problems with possessive form, agreement, and passive construction. In “This does highly benefit the celebrities and give them,” the verb forms do not agree, while the sentence beginning “From my perspective” runs on and lacks clear grammatical boundaries. Review subject–verb agreement, articles, possessives, and sentence punctuation. Building complex sentences carefully, then checking each clause, will improve clarity and accuracy.
