Student answer (Band 6.0)
These days famous personalities are captured by professional photographers everywhere they go. Some people believe that this is acceptable because the public are interested in their lives, while others think that following them constantly is wrong. This essay will discuss both these views before presenting my opinion.
On the one hand, famous people including sportsperson, actors, actresses, singers, and influencers should be photographed because capturing them can arrise public's curiosity about their lives. People can come to know about their lifestyle and can do similar things that their role models do in their real lives. Thus, capturing them can have a positive influence on people. Moreover, professional photographs can earn a living from this action as they post their photos on newspapers, magazines, and other social media platforms, and hence they can generate a lavish amount of revenue for them.
On the other hand, some peole argue that taking photographs of famous personalities consistently can spoil the privacy of famous individuals. For example, when they spend quality time with their families and children in public, capturing them may feel them awkward and uncomfortable. As a result, this action can ruin their private life as they may not enjoy a common person life in public.
In my opinion, although public may aware of their favourite personality by the action of phographers, I believe that they should be given a complete privacy rather than spoting them everywhere.
In conclusion, famous people should not be photographed persistently even though they can generate curiosity among people and can boost earning powers of poparazzi. Therefore, they should have freedom to live freely and enjoy a private life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear opinion: you explain that photographs can satisfy public curiosity and provide income, then argue that constant attention harms celebrities’ privacy. The examples about family time and role models are relevant. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the benefits are asserted rather than supported with a specific example, and the claim that people can imitate celebrities’ lifestyles is not explained. Your position is clear, but the phrase “they should be given a complete privacy” is broad and could be qualified by distinguishing ordinary public coverage from intrusive pursuit. The response meets the stated length requirement; 16 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view, your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” makes the progression easy to follow. This is a strength beyond basic organisation. Some connections within paragraphs, however, are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Thus” moves quickly from public curiosity to positive influence without showing the link, while “Moreover” introduces photographers’ income as a separate benefit without explaining how it relates to the public’s interest. The opinion paragraph also repeats the privacy argument rather than extending it. Develop links between claims and examples, and use referencing more precisely to make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “professional photographers,” “role models,” “privacy,” and “revenue,” and the meaning is generally clear. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “lavish amount of revenue,” but this collocation is unnatural; “substantial income” would be more idiomatic. Several word-choice, word-form, and spelling errors reduce precision, including “arrise,” “peole,” “phographers,” “spoting,” and “poparazzi.” “Capturing” is repeated and can sound as though the subject is being seized rather than photographed. To improve, check spelling carefully, vary repeated terms with accurate alternatives such as “photograph” or “media coverage,” and choose collocations that fit the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “when,” and “although,” and most ideas remain understandable. Some grammatical errors are noticeable, however. In “sportsperson, actors,” the plural form is inconsistent; “the public may aware” is missing the verb “be”; and “may feel them awkward” uses an incorrect structure. The sentence beginning “although public may aware” also needs an article and a complete verb phrase. There is a punctuation slip where “wrong. This” lacks a space after the full stop. Practise accurate article use, subject–verb patterns, and constructions such as “make them feel uncomfortable.” More reliable control of these forms would make your varied sentences clearer.
