Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this moderenized era, there is an argument about famous people photographed by professional photographers everywhere they go. Some thinks this is a good thing, while some critize this since they think it can effect their privacy. I will discuss both in upcoming paragraphs.

On the on hand, many individuals want to know about the celebrities or any famous person they admire or follow. They wants to know what is goind on in their lives like, what are they wearing? Where are they going? What are their upcoming projects?.So all these thing they want to know about their favourites one, being a fan they want themselves to keep updated . Moreover, they feel so connected with them that they do not want to loose any point the people they like or admire. Because they want to become like their role models. That is the major reson they want to stay updated.

On the other hand, some masses criticize this since they think following famous people is wrong thing. They think everybody deserves a privacy in their life even if someone is famous also, it is not important that everthing should be captured for social media . Moreover in my opinion, Famous people also wants to enjoy ther life in simple way sometimes and it is not possible when cameras are around everytime.

However, as a example they can not go to the restaurants to have their food ,because there will be paparazzis to capture them and always need to get ready to go outside their home .

After discussing both points i feel that , it has both pron and cons, Paparazzies keeps us updated about our favourites ones or about their upcoming projects . Moreover, it also provide jobs to media and photographers . when I see another side, it can create plethora of difficulties about their security.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both perspectives: the first body paragraph explains readers’ interest in celebrities, while the next argues that famous people deserve privacy. Your own view is present in the final paragraph, where you acknowledge benefits such as keeping fans informed and providing jobs, alongside security concerns. However, the position is not consistently clear: the sentence beginning “I will discuss both” gives no opinion, and the conclusion lists pros and cons without clearly stating which view you support or how the issue should be balanced. Several points are asserted rather than developed; for example, the restaurant example could explain the practical or emotional impact of constant photography. A clearer, sustained opinion and more specific explanation would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an identifiable introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding paragraph, so the reader can follow its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “On the other hand” and “Moreover” to connect related points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes repetitive: the first body paragraph repeats the idea that fans want to stay updated without adding much new explanation. The restaurant example is placed in a separate paragraph and would connect more naturally to the privacy argument above it. Some linking phrases are awkward or do not show the relationship precisely, and the conclusion shifts between benefits and drawbacks without a clear final position. Organise each paragraph around one main point and develop it in a more deliberate sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “role models,” “privacy,” “paparazzis,” “upcoming projects,” and “security,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “In this modernized era.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “some masses,” “a privacy,” “favourites one,” and “create plethora of difficulties.” Spelling errors such as “moderenized,” “critize,” and “reson” are noticeable and can distract the reader. Aim for precise, natural expressions rather than elaborate wording: for instance, use “the public” instead of “masses,” and “raise security concerns” instead of “create plethora of difficulties.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a reason clause in “because they think it can effect their privacy” and a conditional example about going to restaurants. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. Examples include “Some thinks,” “They wants,” and “what is goind on,” where subject–verb agreement or verb forms are incorrect. Articles and sentence construction also need attention in “everybody deserves a privacy” and “it is not important that everthing should be captured.” Punctuation is inconsistent, particularly around question marks, commas, and sentence boundaries. Practise checking agreement, articles, and complete sentence structure, then proofread each sentence for punctuation.
