Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's modern world, some people says it is good thing that popular people are photographed by media people in every place where they move because people are interested in their lives and want to know everything about them. While, others argue that it is wrong to follow them because it is irrelevant and also there are chances of misuse of their images by some opponents. In my opinion it is not a good development because of misuse of their images and personal data. This essay will discuss both views in the following paragraphs.
On one hand, some people think that it is not a bad thing to capture images of well-known people because they are public figure and public have rights to know each and every detail about them. Moreover, a large number of fans have wanted to see their celebrities and think that reporter are doing good by capturing them and then disclose their data on social platforms. For example, in Asian countries, a greater number of population are doing live podcasts to ask questions from the actors and post their pictures on social media for ordinary people. Thus, they are continuously supporting this trend on larger scale.
On the other hand, some individuals are opposing this trend and they think that it is a negative development to follow the famous persons because it would leads to breach their personal information publically. Furthermore, It is also unethical to ask any irrelevant questions about them. For instance, few reporters are going everywhere to spot popular people and then prefer to misuse their images to harass them. Therefore, it is not a positive trend to follow them every time because of the sake of views.
In conclusion, it is not bad to know likes and dislikes about their role model but it is negative fashion to photographed them on every site because these people have also rights to make some information confidential and protect themselves from any harassment of their false photographs. So, I believe that photographers should avoid to capture them to maintain their life confidential.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both perspectives and state a consistent opinion: you oppose photographers following famous people because of privacy breaches and image misuse. The supporting points about fans’ interest and reporters’ behaviour are relevant, and the example of social-media interviews helps illustrate the first view. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the public’s “rights to know each and every detail” is asserted rather than examined, and the example does not clearly show why constant photography benefits the public. The opposing view is more clearly explained through harassment and confidentiality, but could be strengthened with a specific consequence or example. To develop the response further, explain the limits of public interest and distinguish legitimate reporting from intrusive pursuit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that restates your position. Signposts such as “On one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. This logical organisation is a strength, and the paragraphs generally stay focused on their respective viewpoints. Some linking is mechanical, however, with repeated use of “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” “For example,” and “Therefore.” A few references are also unclear, such as “they” in the discussion of fans and reporters, and “these people” in the conclusion. Use a wider range of connections between ideas and repeat key nouns where pronouns could have more than one possible reference.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “public figure,” “personal information,” “harass,” “confidential,” and “misuse,” which allows you to discuss privacy and media attention. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “negative development” and “unethical.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “media people,” “disclose their data,” “negative fashion,” and “on every site.” These sometimes make the intended meaning less precise. Some expressions are also repetitive, particularly “follow” and “famous people.” Build accuracy by learning common collocations for journalism and privacy, and choose precise terms such as “paparazzi,” “publish personal details,” and “in public places.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “While others argue…” and a reason clause with “because.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “some people says” has subject–verb disagreement, “it would leads” uses an incorrect verb form, and “they are public figure” needs plural agreement. Articles and sentence construction also need attention in phrases such as “it is good thing” and “While, others argue.” These errors do not generally prevent the reader from following your argument, but they reduce accuracy. Practise checking agreement, articles, and verb forms, and read each sentence aloud to identify awkward clause openings and punctuation.
