Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is very true that now a days famous people are photographed by professional photographers every where and those people who followed these famous personalities like to know what they are doing on every moment but every thing has two sides sometimes famous preferred these kind of thing to be in the highlights on the other hand some don’t prefer these kind of these because they say they also have a personal life or private life to be spend with family and other persons and not to share everything on the social media but in today world famous persons or media persons are also public figures so somehow they don’t have the right to claim this thing because in the start firstly they start doing this by posting everything of the life and daily routine from morning till night on the social media and after becoming famous then they want privacy which is very difficult at this time when everyone has their phone and internet in hands so in this century if you want privacy first of all don’t share your personal life or belongings on social media for the beginning when you are not famous because after becoming famous it is impossible or very difficult to hide these because people always want something spicy news to enjoy and make fun to these by sharing with others although they don’t know how it will impact the like of that person in real. Something some false or mishap thing leads to very bad ending like if something personal leaks of that famous person it will sometimes lead that person to death so always think before doing something in life or also on social media. Better to think before then regretting after something bad happens

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify both perspectives: some public figures may welcome attention to remain in the headlines, while others value privacy and family life. You also offer a view that people who share their lives online may find privacy harder to maintain, and you mention the serious consequences of leaked personal information. However, the discussion only partly answers the question. The prompt concerns photographers following famous people, but much of your response shifts to celebrities posting on social media and whether they can claim privacy. The benefits of professional photography for an interested public are not clearly explained, and your position on whether photographers are right to follow people remains difficult to distinguish from your advice about social media. Develop each side directly and state your own judgement clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a recognisable line of thought, moving from public interest to celebrities’ privacy, social media, and possible harm from leaked information. However, the response is presented as one very long sentence-like paragraph, so the reader has little help distinguishing the two views or your own opinion. Connectors such as “on the other hand,” “so,” and “although” are used, but they do not consistently show the relationship between ideas; several points are joined together without clear boundaries. For example, the shift from celebrities sharing online to photographers following them needs an explicit link. Use separate paragraphs for the opposing views and your conclusion, and organise each paragraph around one main point with clear sentence boundaries and references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary, including “private life,” “public figures,” “personal life,” and “privacy,” which helps communicate the central topic. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as information that “leaks” and news that is “spicy.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive or imprecise, including repeated uses of “famous,” “thing,” and “something.” Some word combinations are unnatural, such as “in the highlights,” “in hands,” and “make fun to these,” and these can make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Aim for more precise terms for media attention and intrusion, and check collocations when using less familiar expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express complex relationships using clauses introduced by “because,” “although,” and “when,” and the main ideas are generally recoverable. However, the response relies heavily on long, loosely connected sentence structures, and attempts at complexity often lead to errors that make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “some famous preferred these kind of thing” has problems with tense, agreement, and number, while “a personal life or private life to be spend with family” has an incorrect verb form and an incomplete construction. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also frequently missing, particularly in the opening and final sections. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them carefully using accurate clause structures.
