Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a personal position: you explain that celebrity photographs satisfy public curiosity and may inspire people, while photographers could also document ordinary citizens and natural places. This covers the main parts of the prompt, but the discussion is only partly developed. For example, the claim that images let people “broaden their knowledge about industry” is not explained with a specific example, and the point about meeting celebrities “to get viral” is unclear and does not strongly support the argument. Your opinion that photographers should follow famous people “responsibly” is relevant, but you do not define what responsible coverage means or explain how it balances public interest with privacy. Develop each main idea with clearer reasoning and a concrete, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “To commence with,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude” helps readers follow the broad progression. However, connections between some claims are mechanical or unclear. In the first body paragraph, the move from learning about celebrities to wanting to meet them does not show how the second point supports the stated advantage. The examples also do not always connect clearly to the preceding claims. The introduction’s final sentence announces a discussion and conclusion, but adds little to the argument. Use linking phrases to show precise relationships between ideas, and make each example explicitly illustrate the point in its paragraph.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “prominent people,” “public curiosity,” “natural beauty,” and “biographical images.” This gives you some variety beyond basic wording. However, inaccurate word choice and collocation are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “in the mirage of achieving success,” “pictures … are clicked,” “stay update,” and “eye-attracting locations” are not natural in this context. Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “local people” when you appear to mean members of the general public. Aim for accurate, natural combinations of words rather than formal-sounding phrases; checking collocations and choosing simpler wording where needed will make your ideas clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “whereas,” and “so that.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “it helps citizens to aware” is missing a verb form, while “lens-man should limited follow” has an incorrect verb construction. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “as a fans” and the run-on transition before “However” in the conclusion. Work on reliable sentence patterns first: use “helps people become aware,” “should limit their coverage,” and punctuate contrasting clauses as separate sentences or with appropriate conjunctions. More accurate control will make your varied structures effective.
