Student answer (Band 6.0)

Media has become ubiquitous nowadays and take phtotos of prominent celebraties wherever they see them. Many people deem that it is normal beacuse individuals are interested in their lives. Nonetheless, some people believe that they should not do this. I will discuss both the views in the upcoming paragraphs followed by my opinion.

To commence with, public are intersted in famous people life so that photographers should take their photos. First and foremost, people get to know about recent trends and dressing style. For example, influancers dressed themselves according to the trend and wear different types of jwellery and clothes. As a result, ordinary people will have knowledge about the products as well as they can change their lifestyle according to the trend if they want. Furthermore, People have their own favourite personalities whom they consider as their ideals. This can be the another reason public wants to know more about their lifestyles and all.

On the other hand, to some extend it is not respectful to follow them everywhere. Firstly, it intrerupt their personal life and privacy. For example, some personalities do not like to reveal even single thing about themself or their family. If media followed and capture them everywhere it streightly breaking their privacy and interupt their private life. Secondly, media uploads their picture publically on social media which can be misused by anyone. Consequently, it creats troubles for them in their regular life.

To recapitulate, according to my opinion, photographers should have their boundries as they should not follow famous people everywhere. Moreover, I deem that celebrities are photographed with their permission only so that it will not create any kind of conflict and they can live their personal life peacefully.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both views and give a clear opinion: you explain why the public may want photographs, then argue that photographers should respect celebrities’ privacy and obtain permission. The examples about fashion trends and favourite personalities are relevant, as is the point that images could be misused. This meets the task well, but the two sides are not developed equally. The benefits are explained through trends and role models, while the opposing view could be strengthened with a specific example of harm caused by intrusive photography. Your final position is clear, although the suggestion that photographs should be taken only with permission could be linked more explicitly to how this balances public interest with privacy. More precise development would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion stating your position. The progression within each body paragraph is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand,” “Firstly,” and “Consequently” help readers see how points relate. This is a strong organisational foundation. At times, however, linking feels formulaic, and some references are vague—for example, “This can be the another reason” does not clearly identify the preceding idea. The conclusion also introduces permission as a solution without fully connecting it to the arguments above. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make references explicit to improve the flow further.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “prominent,” “privacy,” “lifestyle,” and “misused,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “To recapitulate.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “phtotos,” “celebraties,” “interested,” “influancers,” and “streightly” are examples. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “famous people life” and “create troubles.” These issues keep the vocabulary from being consistently clear and appropriately controlled, despite the range of relevant ideas. Focus on accurate spelling and natural collocations, and check word forms before submitting. More precise phrases such as “celebrities’ private lives” would also help express your points efficiently.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use both simple and more developed sentence forms, including a conditional clause in “if they want” and a result clause beginning “Consequently.” Most ideas remain understandable, but grammatical errors recur across the response. Examples include the missing verb in “it is normal beacuse,” the agreement problem in “public are interested,” and the article and noun-form issues in “the another reason.” There are also problems with verb forms and sentence construction, as in “If media followed and capture them everywhere” and “it will not create any kind of conflict.” These errors show that complex structures are being attempted but are not yet consistently controlled. Practise agreement, articles, and consistent verb forms, then proofread each sentence for a complete and accurate structure.
