Student answer (Band 4.0)

Nowadays famous people are photograhed by professional photographers everywhere they go. I would like to say about this openion there are lots of photographers all over the world these are very significant for me because lots industries do about this how to make huge money, especialy for everyone for this knowledge this is very cruial things, just also some people are really enjoy this important thinggs.

In the other place, some people have been looking this things, for example for company photographers, this very significant for them to have own bussines like photographers, because not for the every city which all over the world.

Other people think that photographers are wrong to follow famous people. I would like to say. for my experience to someone else well some someone said which is is not good to copy thier knowledge, just take another idea to make another talent and to make any knowledge and own idea not for every one especialy for the relatives, this very big impact.

However, every each of us is not wrong to follow the famous people because we have different decision for our lives. The important things is not illigal which good for everyone else to make own decision.

Inclosion both side topics, this very significant to have this things espeacialy for the people have own knowledge because this is very important things, especialy for the people there is nothing from them. It might help to someone else like this. And for the someone have own knowledge like photographers just keep doing becuase that one significant things.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

The response attempts to discuss both views and gives a personal position, particularly in “every each of us is not wrong to follow the famous people.” However, it does not clearly explain why the public’s interest in celebrities’ lives might justify photography, and the opposing view is confused with copying someone’s ideas rather than photographers following people. The examples about photographers’ businesses and making money are only loosely connected to the question, and the conclusion repeats general claims instead of summarising a reasoned opinion. The response is also one word below the required 250 words; the 11 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To improve, explain each side directly and support your opinion with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is an attempt at paragraphing: the response moves from an opening, to separate discussion of views, and then to a conclusion. Basic signposts such as “In the other place,” “However,” and “Inclosion” also show an effort to guide the reader. However, the progression is difficult to follow because several paragraphs contain ideas that are unclear or do not connect to the question. For example, the discussion of “company photographers” does not lead clearly into the issue of celebrity privacy, while “this very big impact” has no clear reference. Linking phrases are sometimes inaccurate or repetitive. Use a clear structure—one paragraph for each view, followed by your opinion—and make each sentence develop the paragraph’s main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

The response uses some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “professional photographers,” “famous people,” “public,” and “own business.” It also attempts to express evaluation through phrases such as “significant” and “important.” However, the vocabulary is often repetitive and imprecise, so the reader has to work to understand the intended meaning. Phrases such as “this important thinggs,” “make huge money,” and “copy thier knowledge” do not express the ideas naturally in this context. There are also frequent spelling errors, including “photograhed,” “openion,” and “espeacialy.” Build a more accurate set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling; for example, use terms relating to privacy, public interest, and media attention.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both short statements and longer sentences, and some basic sentence patterns are understandable, such as “Other people think that photographers are wrong to follow famous people.” However, sentence construction is often incomplete or difficult to interpret. For instance, “because lots industries do about this how to make huge money” lacks a clear grammatical structure, and “The important things is not illigal which good for everyone else” has problems with agreement and clause formation. Punctuation also makes some boundaries unclear, as in “I would like to say. for my experience.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use conjunctions to connect ideas accurately. Proofreading for articles, plurals, agreement, and sentence boundaries would improve clarity.
