Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, celebrities are photographed everywhere they go, whether it is a public event or their personal affair.Although, it is commonly portrayed as a good thing because public likes to know about their lives, while some believe it to be the breach of privacy. In my opinion, although they could be photographed in media events, invasion of personal space and privacy is unjustified.
On one hand, people like to know what is happening in their beloved celebrity's life. How they live, what they do on daily basis, when they are away from the camera.Celebrities themselves, likes attention because it keep them consistently in headlines which is considered good for their career ocassionaly.Furthermore, it provides oppertunities of employment to many journalists and media houses.
On the other hand, getting photogrsphed consistently can be annoying sometimes. For instance, if a famous person is enjoying some private time with their family or children , unnecessary media attention can cause undue stress for them.Morever, public or media can sometimes follow their private vehicles, which can cause serious security threats to them.
In my view, there should be a healthy balance between both things.Famous people should be photographed when they are available for public attention like award ceremonies or public appearances. But, unnesseary harm by invasion of personal space should not be done when they are with their family or without their consent.
In conclusion, although celebrity photography can be entertaing for public and can support media industry, it can cause stress and harrasment for famous people. So i believe that media houses should focus more on their professional life rather than their personal one.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
You address both views and state a clear position: public-event photography may be acceptable, but invading private space is unjustified. The response gives relevant reasons on each side, including public interest, media employment, family stress and security risks. The examples about award ceremonies and photographers following private vehicles help make your position concrete. This fits a response that covers all parts and supports its main ideas. Some points, however, are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the claim that celebrities welcome attention because it keeps them in the headlines could be qualified, since this may not apply to everyone. Developing one or two reasons with a specific example would make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The essay has a clear overall progression: an introduction presents the issue and your view, two body paragraphs discuss opposing perspectives, and the conclusion restates your position. Signposting such as “On one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In my view” makes the structure easy to follow. The ideas within each paragraph are generally relevant and logically grouped. To strengthen cohesion further, make the links between individual claims more explicit; the move from celebrities’ interest in headlines to employment opportunities, for instance, feels somewhat abrupt. Some transitions are also formulaic, and the final paragraph repeats points already made rather than drawing them together. More varied referencing and clearer links between reasons would make the progression feel more flexible.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “breach of privacy,” “media attention,” “security threats,” and “public appearances,” which communicates the main ideas clearly. There are also attempts at more specific phrasing, such as “undue stress” and “invasion of personal space.” However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “personal affair,” “beloved celebrity,” and “unnecessary harm … should not be done.” Spelling errors such as “ocassionaly,” “oppertunities,” and “harrasment” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural combinations—for example, “private life,” “celebrity fans,” and “avoid invading their privacy”—and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including the concession in “Although they could be photographed in media events…” and the conditional idea about media attention causing stress. The overall meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “public likes” needs an article or plural subject, “Celebrities themselves, likes” has subject–verb disagreement, and “it keep them” should agree with “it.” The opening also has a sentence-boundary problem: “Although” is followed by a comma and an incomplete clause, while “affair.Although” lacks a space after the full stop. Work on agreement, complete clause structure, and punctuation, then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
