Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent years, the lives of celebrities have lead to influence other people globally at a higher extent. They are being filmed and captured by various professional photographers wherever they go. This essay will discuss both the views and state how the celebrities lives affect the common man.
Some people argue that the famous people should let the citizens know about their personal lives as they tend to follow their lifestyle and other basic habits. These celebrities play an important role in influencing people and changing their perspective towards life. Professional photographers clicks the famous people for the social validation and to gain likes and views. This helps them to develop their image and promote their business nationally. Through these photographs, youngsters try to mimic their styles and clothing habits which will give them a smarter and bolder appearance.
However, every individual has their own right to privacy and security. Photographers and other media sources stay connected to these people constantly and celebrities are unable to live their moment freely. For example, Shahrukh Khan, a bollywood actor has his bunglow named "Mannat" near the famous Juhu beach in Mumbai. Journalists, reporters and some photographers are always found to be roaming around his house, just to capture him and take his photographs. This won't allow the actor to even enjoy his leisure time in his own balcony. Also, people would take his snapshots without his consent and that will ultimately lead to false practices.
In my opinion, photographers and media channels should promote the lives of the famous people so that local citizens get the opportunity to follow their good habits, but the privacy of these celebrities should not be at stake, respecting their personal moments.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both views and give a clear position: photographers can show celebrities’ positive habits, but their privacy should be protected. The example of Shahrukh Khan illustrates the intrusion side effectively, and the discussion of young people copying celebrities gives a relevant reason for public interest. This meets the task well, though the two sides are not developed equally: the benefits are mainly linked to imitation and photographers’ business, while the essay could explain more directly why the public’s interest justifies photographing celebrities. The final opinion is clear but would be stronger if it specified a boundary, such as allowing photographs at public events but not persistent surveillance at home. More balanced development and support would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for the public-interest view, one for privacy concerns, and a concluding opinion. Transitions such as “However” and “In my opinion” help readers follow the shift in argument, and the example is placed appropriately within the privacy paragraph. Some links between ideas are less clear or feel mechanical. For instance, “This helps them to develop their image and promote their business” has an unclear reference to who “them” means, and the connection between public interest and photographers’ social-media gains could be explained more explicitly. The conclusion also repeats the two positions rather than drawing them together into a precise principle. Clearer referencing and more explicit links between claims would improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including “personal lives,” “social validation,” “privacy and security,” “consent,” and “leisure time.” These choices help communicate the main arguments, and the example adds specific vocabulary to the discussion. However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “lead to influence,” “at a higher extent,” “clicks the famous people,” and “false practices.” “Promote the lives” is also vague in the conclusion. These do not prevent understanding, but they limit precision and naturalness. Aim to use familiar collocations accurately rather than choosing a more elaborate phrase that does not fit the meaning. More precise terms for media coverage and privacy violations would strengthen the argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex structures, including the contrast introduced by “However,” the relative clause in “which will give them,” and the conditional structure “so that local citizens get the opportunity.” Meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “the lives of celebrities have lead” has an incorrect verb form, and “Professional photographers clicks” has subject–verb disagreement. There are also problems with articles and possessives in “a bollywood actor” and “the celebrities lives,” while “Some people argue that the famous people should let the citizens know” has an awkwardly constructed clause. Review verb forms, agreement, and possessive apostrophes, and proofread sentence boundaries and punctuation. Greater accuracy across these structures would make the writing more controlled.
