Student answer (Band 6.0)
Famous people get photographed by professional photographers whereever they go. Although, they get attention afterwards from their social media posts and people like to see their daily routine. In my opinion, they should only get photographed when they are working on a specific project related to work and their private life should not be interrupted.
Some social figures do benefit by the charm of getting photographed wherever they go. Photographers take their pictures and post it on various social media platfroms that gives them thousands of likes. This practice helps them make alot of money. Moreover, people are very curious about the extraordinary lifestyles of celebrities and which draws the attention of alot of audience. To examplify, people in showbiz can go to public places for the promotion of their upcoming movies to gain publicity.
On the other hand, it disrupts the private lives of alot of famous faces. Celebrities are also humans and have families. They also need privacy to spend time with their family and friends without the fear and pressure of been seen and captured everywhere they go. This has been noticed that people get crazy whenever they see a famous person while they are living a normal day in their life. Fans should be aware of their social and personal limits and must not cross their boundaries while seeing their heroes. Previously, a famous Pakistani actor took a divorce but their pictures were leaked on social media while they were in court. This disturbed their mental peace so much that they had to come on camera to plead people to stay away from their case as this is their personal life not a news headline.
In conclusion, photographing celebrities while they are out of their work should be banned. People should be made aware that they can only take pictures of famous figues with their consent only.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both perspectives and state a clear opinion: celebrities may be photographed for work, but their private lives should be protected. The first body paragraph explains the public-interest and promotional benefits, while the second gives relevant reasons for privacy and supports them with the example of a Pakistani actor whose court photographs were shared. This meets the task well, though the two views are not developed equally: the benefits paragraph relies mainly on likes, money and curiosity, and could explain more clearly why public interest justifies photographers’ actions. Your conclusion reinforces your position, but the distinction between work-related and private settings could be defined more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The progression from possible benefits to privacy concerns is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Moreover” introduces a related point, but “and which draws the attention” does not connect smoothly to the preceding sentence. References such as “their” in the actor example also make it less clear who is being discussed. To strengthen the flow, link each example explicitly to the claim it supports and use clearer references between sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “private lives,” “publicity,” “boundaries,” and “mental peace,” and the meaning is generally clear. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “extraordinary lifestyles” and “social figures.” However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “whereever,” “platfroms,” “alot,” “figues,” and “examplify.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “the charm of getting photographed” and “people get crazy.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, especially when describing public interest and intrusive photography. This would make the vocabulary more controlled and appropriate to the formal discussion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including the contrast introduced by “Although” and the longer explanation of how privacy is affected. Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. “Although, they get attention” is an incomplete or incorrectly punctuated opening, while “people … which draws” has faulty sentence structure and agreement. In “without the fear and pressure of been seen,” the passive form is incorrect, and “a famous Pakistani actor took a divorce but their pictures were leaked” contains unclear agreement and reference. Work on complete clause structure, subject–verb agreement, and passive forms. More consistently accurate complex sentences would improve control.
