Student answer (Band 5.0)
Capturing anything is an art and it's about getting more fame and following if you capture something interesting or someone famous. Its one's own decision that what they want to capture and I think people get to know about famous people through photographs and videos that are actually captured by the photographers and posted on social media while some people say that this trend should be stopped now.
On one hand, social media users really wait for candid, solo, and group pictures of the celebrities they admire. They love to see them, compliment them, use them as their profile picture or as a background and consider them as their idol . They love to see what the celebrity is wearing, from the dress to the jewelry and shoes. If a good photographer won't do this, who else will?
However, photographers also know what and how to capture because this will make them famous as well, as the picture they capture can be used by the famous people as well, they post it on their social media and give credits to the photographer. In both ways they get famous and people get to know the artist behind the good pictures.
On the other hand, there are people who are not fan following of famous people, who are not really interested in the life of famous celebrities, they are not excited to see what a famous person is wearing and who are they dating, that's why they are not really interested in the photos captured by the photographers. So, the find it useless and blame the photographer that they should capture something else, that's interesting and worth watching and most of them are old people who lost their interest in social media.
Well in my opinion, it is no wrong to capture what is famous while I would say it's good for the photographers as this will promote their work, people get to know them and can hire them on their occasions by seeing their work. So, capturing famous and well known people is a good job to do being a photographer instead of capturing stuff that people don't bother to see. As a job it boosts your work.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear personal view that photographing famous people can benefit photographers, and you explain why fans enjoy seeing celebrities’ pictures. However, the discussion does not fully address the central contrast in the prompt: whether photographers are wrong to follow famous people. The opposing view is presented mainly as disinterest—some people do not care about celebrity photos—rather than concerns such as privacy, harassment, or intrusive pursuit. Your reasons about photographers gaining recognition and being hired are relevant, but they are repeated and not developed with a specific example. To strengthen the response, explain both sides directly and support your opinion with a more balanced, clearly reasoned example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has separate paragraphs and uses signposts such as “On one hand,” “However,” and “On the other hand,” so the reader can identify shifts in viewpoint. Nevertheless, the overall progression is not consistently clear: the paragraph beginning “However” continues the benefits of celebrity photography rather than introducing a contrasting view, and the later opposing paragraph focuses on people’s lack of interest instead of the issue of photographers following celebrities. Some ideas are repeated, particularly that photographers gain fame and people can see their work. Linking phrases such as “So” and “Well” are sometimes informal or do not clearly show the relationship between ideas. Organise the essay around the two views in the question, then use a separate conclusion to state your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “candid,” “compliment,” “profile picture,” and “credits,” which helps communicate ideas about celebrity images and social media. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the meaning harder to follow. For example, “people who are not fan following” is not a natural way to describe people who are not fans, and “capture something that’s interesting” is vague. Repetition of “famous,” “people,” and “photographers” also limits precision. Aim for more accurate collocations and vocabulary specific to the debate, such as privacy, public interest, intrusive coverage, and media attention, while avoiding overly conversational wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt longer sentences and use clauses to connect reasons, as in “I think people get to know about famous people through photographs and videos…” However, complex sentences are often difficult to control, and frequent errors affect clarity. Examples include “Its one's own decision that what they want to capture,” where the clause structure is faulty, and “So, the find it useless,” where the subject and verb do not agree. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and punctuation, such as “as their idol .” Sentence boundaries are sometimes unclear because several ideas are joined into long sentences. Practise building accurate shorter sentences first, then combine them using controlled subordinate clauses and check agreement and punctuation.
