Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state that you will discuss both views and give an opinion, and you offer relevant points about celebrities’ public images, charity, and the influence of famous people on audiences. However, the task is only partially addressed: the first view is presented mainly as celebrities using photographers to promote themselves, rather than explaining why the public’s interest makes constant photography a good thing. The opposing view also focuses on celebrities showing fake lifestyles, not directly on whether photographers are wrong to follow them or invade their privacy. Your conclusion gives a position—people should follow celebrities only to a certain extent—but this is not fully explained or consistently established. Develop both sides directly and support your opinion with clearer reasoning and relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “Furthermore” and “In the conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from social media popularity to hired photographers, charity and audience behaviour without clearly connecting these points. Several linking expressions are inaccurate or make the logic unclear, including “Not only this development is beneficial” and the sentence beginning “Because audience can be aware.” The contrast in the second body paragraph is also confusing, particularly the sequence “Although… But.” Organise each paragraph around one view, explain the connection between each supporting point, and use referencing and transitions more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “social media,” “audience,” “charity,” and “movie promotion,” and you try to express ideas such as public influence and celebrity image. However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “paparazzies,” “judge anyone by their social appearance,” “aware to public,” and “exposed recently,” which do not convey the intended meanings clearly. Spelling errors such as “soceity,” “apperance” and “millons” are also noticeable. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases—for example, privacy, media attention and public interest—and check spelling and collocations so your ideas are expressed more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “Ajay Devgan who is popular film star” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” However, complex constructions are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, articles and punctuation can make meaning hard to follow. For example, “celebrities hire some paparazzies… when they travel” does not clearly express the task’s situation, while “society should be followed this celebrities” has an incorrect passive construction and demonstrative. Other examples include “they are admired… as well they do this thing” and “what things they are showed to them.” Practise forming complete clauses, using consistent verb forms, and checking articles and subject–verb relationships. Separate sentences with appropriate punctuation.
