Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and give a personal position: the first body paragraph argues that celebrity photographs can attract visitors and benefit the economy, while the second says they may influence young people negatively. The conclusion also states that such photographs can be useful when celebrities present themselves appropriately. These points are relevant, but the discussion is unevenly developed. The economic example about Bollywood actresses visiting Dubai is difficult to connect to photographers following celebrities, and the claim about police cases needs clearer explanation and support. Your opinion is present, but it would be stronger if you directly addressed whether photographers are justified in pursuing famous people, rather than focusing mainly on how celebrities choose to present themselves. Develop each view with a clearer link to the question.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This makes the main direction easy to identify. You also use signposting such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” to mark shifts between ideas. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Because, photographer…” is separated from the preceding sentence, and “Due to which” does not clearly show how the photograph leads to increased tourism. The opening sentence also introduces hired photographers, although the task concerns photographers following famous people. Improve progression by making each paragraph’s main claim explicit, then explaining the cause-and-effect link before giving an example. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow who is influencing whom.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “economic boost,” “public figures,” “followers,” and “influenced,” and you use some topic-specific terms such as “GDP.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make meaning harder to follow, including “celebraties,” “chapture,” “surroding,” and “spoatlight people.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise: “primary sattement,” “high status people,” and “properway.” Aim to use accurate, natural collocations rather than forcing formal-sounding expressions. For instance, describe the economic effect as “boost tourism” and refer to “celebrities” or “public figures” consistently. Proofreading spelling and choosing precise words would make your ideas clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect structures such as “Due to which…” and a conditional idea in the conclusion. Some sentences communicate the intended point, but grammatical control is inconsistent. Examples include the fragment “In which group of thinkers believe…,” the missing verb in “both the notion will discussed,” and agreement or verb-form problems in “photographer chapture” and “they also take.” Punctuation also disrupts sentence boundaries, as in “Because, photographer…” and the run-on opening. Work on forming complete clauses, using consistent subject–verb agreement, and controlling articles and verb forms. Separating long explanations into clear sentences will help your varied structures remain accurate and easier to understand.
