Student answer (Band 6.0)

In today's world, professional photographers click pictures of celebrities wherever they go. This phenomenon is considered positive by some people as public want to gat all updates about them, whereas, others take it in a wrong manner.

On one side, people favour the photographers who takes photos of famous individuals as they like to know all about them. Fans always love to get additonal information anout celebrities and those photographers are their only medium of source. For instance, if an actor got famous eating green salad in everyday life then their fans can also get influenced and intiate adding fibre in their diet which will make an impact on their life. So, getting knowledge about daily life of famous people is noth that bad.

Despite that, some people believe photographers should not capture photos of celebrities all the time. Sometimes, people misuse their photos and result in horrible incidents for famous people. For example, last year in december a famous entrepreneur got attacked by a mob in ehich his driver got injured. It all happened because a professional photographer shared his picture on social media with current location. Moreover, it is not appropriate to click anyone's picture without their consent.

To conclude, getting updates of famous people by professional photographers can be exciting for some people, however, it can be a life risking for some celebrities. In my opinion people should respect privacy of celebrities and do not support professional photographers in ruining them, photographers must take permission form famous people and provide only limited information to their fans.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both views and give a clear opinion: the first body paragraph explains fans’ interest, while the second raises privacy and safety concerns, and the conclusion supports respecting celebrities’ privacy. The examples about healthy eating and the entrepreneur’s location help make the discussion relevant. However, the first example is hypothetical and its link to the public benefit is not fully explained; the safety example is more specific but would benefit from clearer context. Your position is strongest in the conclusion, so state it more explicitly in the introduction and maintain it throughout. Developing the reasons behind each view more evenly would make the response more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The progression from public interest to privacy concerns is easy to follow, and signposts such as “For instance,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help guide the reader. Some linking is mechanical, however: “On one side” and “Despite that” are less natural choices for introducing these contrasting arguments, and “whereas” is followed by awkward punctuation in the opening. The final sentence also combines several recommendations, making the conclusion feel crowded. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make links between claims and examples more explicit to strengthen the flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “celebrities,” “consent,” “privacy,” and “current location,” and you attempt phrases such as “get influenced” and “life risking.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “medium of source,” “take it in a wrong manner,” and “click pictures.” Spelling errors such as “additonal,” “anout,” and “intiate” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the main ideas, but they make the expression less precise and fluent. Build a more reliable range of collocations for discussing media and privacy, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “as,” “if,” and “because,” and the main argument is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with agreement and sentence construction: “photographers who takes photos” should use a plural verb, and “public want” needs an appropriate determiner and verb form. The conditional example beginning “if an actor got famous” shifts awkwardly between past and present, while “do not support” in the conclusion does not match the surrounding recommendation. Punctuation around “whereas” is also faulty. Review subject–verb agreement, consistent tense, and sentence boundaries; greater accuracy in these areas would make your varied structures more effective.
