Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the discussion and give a personal view: the first body paragraph explains why fans may value information about celebrities, while the next argues that public figures need privacy. Your conclusion also proposes limiting photography to their workplace. However, the position is not fully consistent: the introduction says you will discuss the issue, but does not state your view, and the conclusion first supports lifestyle photographs before restricting them to work settings. Several ideas remain general, such as celebrities being role models, and the response gives no specific example to show how photographs inform or harm the public. State your position clearly from the introduction and develop each side with a concrete example and explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the overall arrangement coherent. Some linking is also attempted through phrases such as “On the side” and “To conclude.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from fans’ curiosity to role models and then to life struggles without clearly connecting these points. The conclusion repeats the privacy argument and contains a confusing final sentence. Use topic sentences that identify each paragraph’s main point, then explain it in a clear sequence. More precise referencing and fewer loosely connected clauses would make the cohesion less mechanical and easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “privacy,” “personal space,” “mental peace,” and “balance between professional and private lifestyle.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response harder to read, such as “debatble,” “everwhere,” “famous personality,” and “proper information.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “photos of every action of their life.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. Repeating “famous people,” “life,” and “personal” can also be reduced by using suitable alternatives such as “celebrities,” “private affairs,” and “public figures.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “because” and “while,” and you try to explain cause and effect. However, complex sentences are often faulty or incomplete, which sometimes makes the intended relationships unclear. For example, “Famous personalities play vital role … as role model which inspire their fans” has problems with articles, agreement, and clause structure. The fragment beginning “while knowing about their struggles” is not joined to a complete main clause, and “they also need privacy … to live” is not consistently controlled in the longer sentences. Work on building complete sentences with one clear main clause, then add subordinate clauses accurately. Review articles, subject–verb agreement, and punctuation.
