IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The first table below shows changes in the total population of New York City from 1800 to 2000. The second and third tables show changes in the population of the five districts of the city (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island) over the same period.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The provided first table illustrate the whole population are changed in the City of New York from 1800 to 2000. The given second and third tables give the information about changes in population in the five districts of the city (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island) during the same time period.

overall the tables shows the information about change population during 3 years, most of changed observed in the one district of Manhattan rather then other four district.

The whole population of New York City in 1800 is 79216, in 1900, [redacted phone] and in 2000, [redacted phone]. In Manhattan district the population change in 1800 as 76% and in 1900 , 54% and in the year of 2000 less change in as compare to other two year is 19%.

In the remaining for districts change in the population of 1800 24% and in 1900 the change show the 46% and in the last year 2000 the 81%.
