Student answer (Band 5.5)

Water is basics need for human lives. Clean fresh water availibility basics dignity for individuals. Authorities should has responsibility to provided water of supply free of cost in our homes. However, i strongly agree with this statement government responsibility to take care the public health and basic need, so they give supply of clean water free of cost for everyone.

I begin with, water is esstenial for every human, or it is basic need for people live's. Individuals used the water for different prospect such as cooking, washing the dishes and drinking the water. Moreover, water supply authorities to provide clean fresh water free of cost, people completed the our needs without any financial burden. For an instance, if water supply free of charge in our every home, so it is beneficail for poor families becuase then can use water without worrying about water exepenses. Furthermore, government enusre that supply of clean water access to everyone home without any fee becuase this action is very neccessary for those people who do not afford this basic needs.

On the other hand, human health is very esstenial, so water can may cause of different diseases. Contaminated water can cause serious helath problems such as diarrheal, hepatitis A or typhoid fever. However, if water supply council provides clean water they can reduce diseases. Foe example, people who have acces the clean water are less likely to suffer from waterbone diseases. On other benfit it overcome the medical expenses for families.

To sum up, from my point of view, government has responsibility to provide clean water supply with free of charge for everyone. It has benefical affects on people live's such as it reduces the diseases, overcome the financial burden on poor families or they used water with out any challenges.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that governments should provide clean water to every home free of charge. You address relevant reasons, including affordability for poorer families and the health risks of contaminated water, and the examples of waterborne illnesses help explain the public-health argument. However, some points are asserted rather than fully developed. For instance, you say free water would reduce financial burdens, but do not explain how this policy could be funded or why free provision is preferable to affordable, subsidised access. The discussion of health also repeats the claim that clean water reduces disease without extending the reasoning much. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or a specific example to make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting affordability and health reasons, and a conclusion that restates your view. This gives the reader an overall sense of direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking expressions can feel mechanical or inaccurate. For example, “On the other hand” introduces another reason supporting your position rather than a contrasting view, while “For an instance” and “On other benfit” do not connect ideas naturally. Some sentences also repeat the same point about free water benefiting families. Use clearer topic sentences, make the relationship between each example and its main point explicit, and vary or reduce linking phrases so the argument flows more smoothly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “financial burden,” “contaminated water,” “diseases,” and “medical expenses,” which helps communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “water is basics need,” “different prospect,” “waterbone diseases,” and “beneficail affects.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “free of cost” and “overcome the medical expenses.” Aim to learn common collocations for this topic and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain the policy and its effects without relying on repeated references to “free” water and “basic needs.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if water supply free of charge in our every home” and a sentence linking clean water with disease prevention. However, control of sentence structure and basic forms is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. For example, “Authorities should has responsibility” has an incorrect verb form, while “people completed the our needs” has an unclear tense and sentence pattern. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “water can may cause of different diseases.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
