Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people argue that clean water is essential as well as core human authority. While I believe plays a crucial role in human lives. Some people uses water in such a way that get wasted unnecessarily.I partially agree to this point of view because the needy people cannot afford to pay incoming bills. In addition, all the indivisual have an equal right regarding water usage.
On one hand, water is a fundamental human right on which every individual have equal rights.High class people does not value the water, because they think it is complementary to everyone. Moreover, they use water exessively without even need. For instance, using washing machine instead of washing clothes by hand. The washing machine uses extra water which can be saved by dry cleaning method or by using one full bucket of water instead of wasting water through machines.
On the other hand, needy people cannot meet the cost of water as they also need water to cook,to wash dishes.Clean water should be supplied everywhere because it also includes health problems especially in slum areas. However, water containers may solve the problem by saving extra water while needed because in some places only two to three days water availability is there. For instance, saving water in a large drum can help people to survive for sometime.Every household requires water to live.Costing no money to upper class people will not get any lesson regarding water because they think water is for wasting, while unemployed individual needs water for free
To conclude,i would prefer saying that water is a primary use of human everybody needs water to live I believe costing less water bills can create saving water as well as utilising it properly

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the question by discussing both the right to water and the difficulty poorer households may have paying for it. Your position is partly stated in “I partially agree,” but the conclusion shifts towards lower bills rather than clearly confirming whether every home should receive water free of charge. The supporting ideas are relevant, including the contrast between excessive use by wealthier people and the needs of people in slum areas. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: for example, the washing-machine example does not clearly show why water should be free, and the suggestion of storing water in a drum is not directly linked to the pricing question. State your position consistently and develop fewer examples with a clear connection to it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion, so there is some recognisable organisation. However, the progression between ideas is not always clear. The first body paragraph moves from equal rights to wealthy people’s behaviour and then to washing methods, while the second combines affordability, health, water availability, storage, and pricing without clearly showing how each point supports the argument. Linking phrases such as “Moreover” and “However” are used, but they sometimes connect ideas whose relationship is unclear. The conclusion also runs several claims together. Give each paragraph one main purpose, use clearer references between sentences, and make the final paragraph directly summarise your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “fundamental human right,” “water availability,” “slum areas,” and “water bills.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spelling errors make parts difficult to interpret. “Human authority” does not express the intended idea, and “complementary to everyone” appears to mean that water is freely available. Other examples include “indivisual,” “exessively,” and “primary use of human.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “meet the cost of water” and “saving extra water while needed.” Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling; this will help readers follow your argument without having to infer your meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause in “because they think…” and a contrast introduced by “while.” However, sentence structures are often faulty, and errors frequently interrupt the reader’s understanding. For example, “While I believe plays a crucial role in human lives” is incomplete because it lacks a clear subject, and “every individual have equal rights” has a subject–verb agreement error. The final sentence also joins several ideas without clear sentence boundaries. Articles, plurals, and agreement need more consistent control. Practise writing complete sentences with one clear main clause, then add subordinate clauses carefully; check each sentence for a subject and verb and use punctuation to separate complete ideas.
