Student answer (Band 5.5)
Pure water are the one of the right of human that should provided everyone without any charge. I strongly agree with this because water not only improve quality of lie but also provided healthy life. In the following body i will explain this further.
First of all water is called as life and for this reason this are the main thing that keep us healthy and sound. For example human body consist of 70 percentages of water. So human can not survive without water. The more deficieny of water the more they became unhealthy and weak. Moreover, using dirty water during women period also affect their reproductive organ. This will impact upcoming generation.
Secondly, if water provided timely then it could improve quality of life of human being. LIke if people did not get pure water they will drink whatever they got. This will creat water disease and affect their health. If people are suffering from disease they will not be able to work and ultemately it will affect our economic so badly. This situation will gradually decrease economic growth of our country. Due to frequent water borne disease also minimize life expectancy. Like kolera diease carry patient can not survive long time.
Although water are important for people, it should not get freely. Because if people get it freely they will use it for every uses that will make water shortage.
Finally, i think government should implement policy to give every people water with low price and also ensure proper management. Then water shortage can be minimize as well as human quality of life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is broadly clear: you support access to clean water, arguing that it protects health and quality of life. The examples about bodily need, waterborne illness and economic effects are relevant to the topic. However, the response does not fully resolve the specific proposal that every household receive its supply free of charge. The paragraph beginning “Although water are important” argues that free water could cause shortages, and the conclusion instead recommends a low price, which conflicts with your opening agreement. Explain how free basic household provision could be balanced with measures to prevent waste, and develop the health and economic examples more precisely. This would make your position consistent and your main ideas better supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First of all,” “Secondly” and “Finally” help readers follow the broad order of ideas. However, progression is weakened by the shift from strongly agreeing to saying water “should not get freely,” followed by a conclusion proposing a low price. The links between some claims are also abrupt: the discussion of menstrual hygiene and future generations is not clearly explained, and the economic consequences are repeated without a clear chain of reasoning. Use paragraphs to develop one central point at a time, and add explicit links that show how each example supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “quality of life,” “water shortage,” “economic growth” and “water-borne disease,” which helps communicate the main subject. There are also attempts to express cause and consequence. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to understand, such as “water disease,” “economic so badly” and “kolera diease carry patient.” Spelling errors, including “deficieny,” “creat” and “ultemately,” further reduce clarity. Build a reliable set of phrases for public health and water access, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer precise expressions such as “waterborne illnesses” and “patients with cholera” so your examples are immediately clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer cause-and-effect sentences, for example, “If people are suffering from disease they will not be able to work.” This shows an effort to connect ideas using conditional structures. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “Pure water are,” “the one of the right,” “water not only improve,” and “if water provided timely”; these involve agreement, articles and missing auxiliary verbs. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, as in “The more deficieny of water the more they became unhealthy and weak.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete clause patterns, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
