Student answer (Band 5.0)

These days, clean water is a major issue in the world. Use of clean water is a basic human right. Consequently, it should be provide free in every home. I strongly agree with this statement. I hold the view that it is athe government's responsibility. In this essay, I will elaborate on why clean water is important and present evidence to support my perspective.

To begin with, one of the aspects that individuals often talk about is physical health. Use of uncleam water can cause of several diseases such as fever and cholera. Moreover it can cause of death due to tong term use of unclean water. For instance, in rural areas many individuals consume unclean water due to this reason they are sufring from hipatitias. Therefore, government should provide clean water in every home.

Another significient facter, is lose of many on madicens. Furthermore, a lot of poor people do not take madicens due to lack of maney. For instance, in many countreis poor do not go to doctor for checkup because lack of fundes. Government should test water of all homes and then give them permission of consuming water.

From my perspective, clean water is one of the basic human wrights. It is the government's first responsibility to provide the fresh clean water, becasue many peopel have not money for purchasing water.

To sum up, consuming unclean water have many disadvantages like diseases, so government should be provide clean water in all areas of the country. It is a abasic human right

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that clean water should be provided to every home, and you give relevant reasons concerning health and the government’s responsibility. The examples of cholera and illness in rural areas help connect the issue to real consequences. However, the response addresses the argument only partially because several points are asserted rather than explained. The paragraph about medicine and medical costs does not clearly show how free household water would reduce these costs, and the suggestion that the government should test water and grant permission to consume it shifts away from the central question of free provision. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific example of how free access would benefit households.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “To sum up” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression between ideas is sometimes unclear: the second body paragraph moves from medicine costs to doctor visits and then to water testing without explaining the connections. Some transitions also repeat the same conclusion that the government should provide water, rather than advancing the argument. Use each paragraph to develop one main point, and add clear links between the claim, explanation and example. A more focused conclusion that summarises the two main reasons would also strengthen the overall flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “basic human right,” “physical health,” “cholera,” and “government’s responsibility,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “lose of many on madicens,” “hipatitias,” and “uncleam water.” Repeated use of “clean water,” “government,” and “poor people” also limits precision. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling carefully; for example, explain the link using terms such as waterborne illness, treatment costs and access to safe drinking water. More precise vocabulary would make your reasoning clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a cause-and-effect structure with “because” and an example introduced by “For instance.” However, errors are frequent, and some sentence patterns are faulty enough to interrupt the reader. Examples include “it should be provide free,” “unclean water can cause of several diseases,” and “consuming unclean water have many disadvantages.” There are also problems with articles and sentence construction, as in “It is a abasic human right,” and some long sentences join ideas without clear punctuation. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb forms and complete sentence patterns. For instance, write “unclean water can cause several diseases” and “consuming unclean water has many disadvantages.”
