Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent year, access to clean water has become the important parts of many words. Many people believe that, households should be recieve the free water supply because it is basic right of human. I completely agree this view because water is important human health and survival.
On the one hand, water is important human health and survival. Human used the water in cooking, washing and drinking. Poor people not purchase the water because they are difficulty manage the other facility. for instance,
they have low-pay job they difficult manage the electric bill and rent of house. as result, water receive they free of charge. If water not recieved the free they increased the disease for eaxample stomach issues. Mostly children and eldrely affected the polluted water.
On the other hand, Government provided the water free all humans. They received funds as form of tax in human . All humans received the equality and opportunity. Poor humans lived happy and easily manage the other probelms. If government do not required the clean water then poor people derinked the polluted water , then illness and different disease affected the body. Without water humans not survived as long time when clean water is not required then they drink the river and polluted water.
In conclusion, clean water is very important in life I, completly agree this point of view beacuse, this basic right of human . They used the water in cleaning and drinking so water water is necessary part of life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you completely agree that households should receive clean water without charge, and you give relevant reasons about health, survival and affordability. The examples of poorer households struggling with rent and electricity bills, and children and older people being affected by polluted water, help connect the issue to real consequences. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The claim that governments can provide free water because they collect taxes is asserted rather than explained, and the response does not consider how universal free provision could be funded or managed. Some points also repeat the same idea about illness from polluted water. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or specific example to make the argument more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: ideas about poverty, taxes, equality and disease are placed together without showing precisely how one leads to the next. Linking phrases such as “as result” and “for instance” are used inaccurately or do not introduce a fully developed example, while the repeated point about polluted water makes the discussion feel circular. Plan each paragraph around one main reason, then explain it and give a relevant example. Clearer sentence-to-sentence links and references would improve the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “clean water,” “free of charge,” “polluted water,” “tax” and “disease,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms make meaning less natural, as in “important parts of many words,” “low-pay job” and “water receive they free of charge.” Spelling errors such as “recieved,” “eaxample” and “probelms” are also noticeable. Repetition of “water,” “important” and “disease” limits variety. Build a small set of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms; for example, use “access to safe drinking water” and “households on low incomes” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer conditional sentences, for example, “If water not recieved the free they increased the disease.” This shows an effort to explain consequences, but the limited range is not yet controlled: many sentences contain frequent errors that can make the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “I completely agree this view,” “Human used the water,” and “If government do not required the clean water.” These need accurate verb forms, articles and sentence structure, such as “I completely agree with this view” and “If the government does not provide clean water…”. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, particularly after full stops. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences before adding conditional clauses.
