Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that every home should have access to clean water supply for free because it is basic and one of the most important things in humans life.while the companies that provided water to the houses see that should charge people for it,I personnally believe that water supply should be charged in small amounts of money.this essay will discuss the reasons behind t in the this view.
First of all,one of the main reasons why water supply should be charged is becuase the companies that provide this supply they spend money on meterials so the water get cleaner and safe for humans needs, for example the companies do not get money to keepup whith the technologies it will reduce of the efficancy of the workers and the materials. Therefore it is importante thing to get charge so you can help with the growth and developement for the companies.
Furthermore, another crucial aspect to consider and keep on mind that this companies have people who works in them so with the charges they can pay the workers and with paying workers that help the country to have a low percentages of jobless peoples and that small paycheck can give the motivation to keep work and help more researches to be done for me this is a science that you can study about and it is a good thing to build and learn.
In conclusion, although the water is a basic human right and significant for the humans life,I believe that is is importants an to get charge for it,this mainly because it can give a growth to the country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a position against providing water entirely free, stating that households should pay “small amounts of money,” and you give two relevant reasons: maintaining treatment infrastructure and paying workers. This addresses the central question, but the response only partially develops the argument. For example, the point about technology and cleaner water is difficult to follow, and the link between water charges and reducing unemployment is asserted rather than explained. The conclusion repeats your view but adds little support. To strengthen the response, explain how charges could be kept affordable while ensuring everyone can access this essential resource, and develop each reason with a clear, specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “First of all” and “Furthermore,” and a conclusion. These paragraph divisions help readers identify the main points. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes unclear, particularly where the discussion moves from company costs to worker efficiency, employment, and research without showing how the ideas connect. Some linking phrases are repetitive or awkward, and the long second body paragraph contains several points in one sentence. Use shorter sentences, organise each paragraph around one main reason, and make references such as “this companies” clearer. This would make the overall argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “water supply,” “technologies,” “workers,” and “development,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “crucial aspect.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Examples include “humans life,” “keepup whith,” “reduce of the efficancy,” and “a low percentages of jobless peoples.” Some phrases, such as “this is a science that you can study about,” do not clearly express the intended point. Build a more accurate set of expressions for water treatment, infrastructure costs, and affordable charges, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a concession in “although the water is a basic human right” and a reason introduced by “because.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles, and verb forms can make meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “the companies that provide this supply they spend money” has an unnecessary repeated subject, while “people who works in them” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. Several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation, especially in the opening and second body paragraph. Practise building one complete clause at a time, then combine clauses with accurate connectors and punctuation.
