Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is often argued that all homesv should have a water supply for free. While some people are disagree with this view. I firmly believe that the water is an assential ingrediant in the world and one of the human right but not with free charge. In this essay we will discuss this idea.

The primary reaon why i support that we should pay for the clean water because there are many companies this is their jobs cleaning water and they study for this which mean it is an effort to do this for exapmle, recent studies proved that many people who doing this work are fetigue and they have many desaise from the unclean wter. As a result, it is a hard job to do.

Another compelling reason is most of people do not know how the unclean water have much time to become clean and the price of the coast of chimical products they clean it for instance, the sheaper product for a small quantity of water is in 1000 dolar without the certificate and the condition of the pressure beceause it is costs too. Consequently there are a plethora of steps for the water become clean and available to drink.

In conclusion, the water is human right that is fact but we should recpect efforts of others and see it from your experiance of the work how is it hard that is why this is let me agree that we must pay the clean water for a good helath too

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You take a position that water should be paid for, while acknowledging that access to water is a human right. The two body paragraphs offer relevant reasons: the work involved in treating water and the cost of treatment products and processes. However, the response only partially develops the task. It does not explain how charging households can be reconciled with a basic right, or distinguish essential access from unlimited use. Some support is unclear, such as the claim about workers becoming fatigued or ill, and the example of a product costing “1000 dolar” is not explained or connected convincingly to household bills. Develop each reason with a clear, credible example and explain how it supports your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting reasons, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “As a result,” “Consequently,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and some links are mechanical or do not clearly express the logic. For example, the first body paragraph moves from companies’ work to workers’ health without explaining the connection to why households should pay. The second paragraph combines treatment time, chemical costs, and pressure conditions in a confusing sequence. Use clearer topic sentences, develop one main point at a time, and make each example explicitly support the paragraph’s central claim.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “water supply,” “human right,” “clean water,” and “chemical products,” and you use some less common expressions such as “a plethora of steps.” However, the range is limited and errors in spelling, word form, and collocation are frequent enough to make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “assential ingrediant,” “fetigue,” “desaise,” and “the price of the coast.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “free charge” and “the water become clean.” Check spelling carefully and learn common combinations such as “provide water free of charge,” “water-treatment costs,” and “make water safe to drink.” Prefer precise, familiar wording over ambitious phrases used inaccurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a result clause introduced by “which mean.” However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. For example, “While some people are disagree with this view” is not a complete, correctly formed clause, while “The primary reaon why i support that we should pay … because” has an incomplete structure. Other problems include subject–verb agreement and sentence construction in “there are many companies this is their jobs.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries also need attention, particularly in the long, unclear second body paragraph. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time.
