Student answer (Band 6.0)
Availability of clean drinking water is a fundamental human right, and it should be provided to every home without any charges. I strongly agree with the access to free and clean drinking water because it is crucial for human health, and everyone can have access to it without any discrimination.
Everyone should be provided with clean drinking water, and no one should be deprived to it. Clean water is one of the basic necessities of mankind, along with food, shelter, and protection, and it keeps the body in a good health and reduces the risk of diseases. For example, the human body is made up of almost 70% water. If they don't get pure water for drinking purposes, it will cause several health problems, including bacterial or viral infections. The most common waterborne disease is hepatitis.
Nowadays, people spend money to buy clean water, and those from hand to mouth cannot afford it. They have to drink impure water because they have no choice. For example, the Nestle company charges almost 3 to 4 euros for a 19 liter water gallon because it is one of the best recognized companies and offers neutral and low TDS water. Such a high price can not be afforded by poor community, particularly by people living in underdeveloped countries. This will ultimately cause inequality among people living in a society.
To sum up, clean and free drinking water must be provided to every human being, as it is one of the basic rights of every man. This will minimize health problems and will not cause inequality among people of different social classes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you strongly agree that clean drinking water should be free, and the conclusion returns to this view. You give relevant reasons, especially the links between unsafe water, illness, and unequal access, and the examples of waterborne disease and bottled-water costs help illustrate them. However, the health argument is more fully explained than the practical claim that every home should receive a free supply. The Nestlé example focuses on bottled water and its price, so it does not fully establish how a public household supply should be funded or delivered. Develop that distinction and explain the implications of your examples more precisely to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a conclusion summarises your position. The progression from health benefits to affordability and inequality is easy to follow. You also use signposting such as “For example,” “Nowadays,” and “To sum up.” At times, however, connections are somewhat mechanical, and some references are not fully clear. For instance, “If they don't get pure water” leaves the reader to infer who “they” refers to, while “This will ultimately cause inequality” could identify more explicitly how the price leads to unequal access. Use more precise referencing and link each example directly to the claim it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “fundamental human right,” “waterborne disease,” “underdeveloped countries,” and “inequality.” These choices make your main ideas clear, and you attempt some less common expressions. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, however: “deprived to it,” “in a good health,” and “from hand to mouth” do not fit the intended meanings or grammatical patterns. “Neutral and low TDS water” is also technical but not clearly relevant to your argument. Aim for more natural phrasing and precise terms, such as “denied access to it,” “maintains good health,” and “people living in poverty.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional sentence beginning “If they don't get pure water” and a relative clause in “people living in underdeveloped countries.” Most sentences communicate your meaning, but some grammatical errors remain. Examples include “no one should be deprived to it” (the preposition pattern is incorrect), “it keeps the body in a good health” (article use), and “a 19 liter water gallon” (number agreement and noun form). There is also inconsistent formality in “don't” within an otherwise formal essay. Review prepositions, articles, and agreement, and proofread sentence patterns while retaining your attempts at varied structures.
