Water is the fundamental part of life. In this essay, I am going to discuss about a water supply that is provided freely.
Clean water deals with sustainable development goal 4. Every citizen have right access of clean water. Our body needed water daily. we use water resources for the various purpose such as washing, cleaning , cooking etc. Good water services increase the productivity of agriculture. As these resources are the free gifts of nature we should obtain freely. They are easily accessable to all of us.
Today water resources drainage are linked from the industries and human settlements. Due to lack of management these resources depletes day by day. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 163 words. This significantly limits the development of your ideas. While you introduce the topic, the arguments regarding whether water should be free are underdeveloped. You mention that water is a 'free gift of nature' but do not explore the economic or logistical implications of providing it free of charge to every home. To improve, you must expand your points with specific examples and counter-arguments to fully address all parts of the prompt. The position is somewhat unclear as the essay shifts focus toward pollution rather than the core debate of free provision.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. Transitions between ideas are often abrupt or missing, such as the sudden shift from the benefits of water to industrial pollution in the second paragraph. Some cohesive devices are used, but they are often mechanical or misused, such as 'In such cases' which does not clearly link to the preceding sentence. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus will help improve the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use some relevant terms like 'sustainable development' and 'productivity', but there are noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'water resources drainage are linked' and 'laws and police with expertise group'. Additionally, there are spelling errors like 'accessable' and 'eco-systems' (which should be one word). To improve, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—and expanding your vocabulary related to social and environmental issues to express your ideas with more sophistication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies on a limited range of sentence structures, mostly simple or compound sentences. There are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('Every citizen have right', 'Our body needed water') and incorrect article usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the lack of complex sentence structures and the frequency of errors prevent a higher score. You should practice using a variety of complex sentence forms, such as conditional sentences or relative clauses, and pay closer attention to basic subject-verb agreement.
