Water is the essential part of life for humans, crops, animals and birds. Supply of clean water that are able to drink is the primary need of human right. I strongly agree with it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you argue that water is a human right, your supporting arguments are contradictory; you state it should be free, yet you spend much of the essay explaining why governments should charge for it. This lack of logical consistency weakens the task response. To improve, ensure your supporting points directly reinforce your stated position rather than arguing against it. The ideas are relevant but remain at a surface level, lacking the depth required for a higher band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is hindered by the contradictory arguments mentioned above. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Furthermore' and 'In conclusion', but they are sometimes used mechanically or inappropriately. For instance, the transition between the importance of water and the discussion of government billing is abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly when referring to 'they' or 'it' without a clear antecedent. Improving the flow between sentences and ensuring each paragraph has a single, clear focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety expected at higher levels. There is frequent repetition of basic terms like 'water', 'supply', and 'government'. Some word choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as 'Global world', 'short money', and 'senitise in road'. These errors occasionally cause the reader to pause, though the overall meaning remains clear. To improve, focus on learning collocations related to public services and infrastructure, and try to use a wider range of synonyms to avoid repetitive phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'Supply of clean water that are able to drink' (subject-verb agreement) and 'worker that are allocate' (passive voice error). Punctuation is inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and capitalisation. Frequent errors in articles, pluralisation, and verb forms are present throughout the text. To reach a higher band, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures.
