Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent times, there has been an ongoing debate regarding the human rights for the access of clean water. I firmly, agree to this statement and the water supply should be of free of cost for every home. This essay will examine the main reasons behind my opinion in detail.
The most compelling reason to justify my view on access to clean water is that, water is the most essential comodity for a human in their daily life. A life in earth feels misserable without water, so that it is a basic human rigth to get clean water free of cost for their home. For instance, some countries charge water taxes for the usage of it, whereas in India there are no water taxes and free to use abundantly. Thus leading to health and hygine of the people a main criteria to make them allergies and diseases resistent. Therefor, this example clearly supports the notion that water must be a human right.
Another most compelling reason to justify my opinion is the supply of water. There should be adequent amount of water to keep up the needs of every individual, and the supply of water should be through a huge streams of pipelines from the nearby water bodies or lakes with proper distillation. For example, the pipelines in Germany are being charged as they are made with heat tapes around to prevent the pipelines from the severe cold conditions, whereas in India there are no such conditions and the lines are well organised with free of cost before making any construction. Thus, this is the evidence that supply of water must be made free for the access of every individual.
In conclusion, I completely agree with the idea that clean water must be supplied to every home free of cost, and making is as a basic human right. This is because the reasons mentioned above strongly jusity my viewpoints.Hence, this perspective is more accurate and beneficial in the current scenerio.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have clearly stated your position in the introduction and maintained it throughout the essay. The task is addressed, and you provide reasons for your opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, your argument regarding the 'supply of water' in the second body paragraph is slightly confusing and lacks a direct link to why it should be free of charge. To improve, ensure that your supporting examples are more logically connected to your main argument. While the response is relevant, the depth of analysis could be increased to fully explore the implications of providing free water, such as the economic or environmental consequences.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'For instance', 'Thus', and 'In conclusion' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. Additionally, there are instances where the logical flow between sentences is a bit disjointed, particularly in the second body paragraph where the transition from the need for water to the infrastructure in Germany and India feels abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, but there are several spelling errors (e.g., 'comodity', 'misserable', 'rigth', 'hygine', 'resistent', 'adequent', 'jusity', 'scenerio'). These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, your word choice is occasionally imprecise, such as 'huge streams of pipelines'. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and using more sophisticated collocations. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic terms related to public policy or economics would also be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('a human in their daily life', 'a life in earth'), prepositions, and punctuation (missing spaces after periods). Some sentences are also slightly awkward, such as 'making is as a basic human right'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to affect the overall flow. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and proofreading for basic punctuation and spelling errors.
