Student answer (Band 6.0)
Undeniably, there is no doubt that water is essential for living for everyone. However, every house should have a water supply is provide without any cost because accessible clean water is every individual rights. i am strongly accord to this notion why water supply is free of cost and its human rights. I would like to explicate my ideas in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, there are plethora of reasons why clean water is every one privileges. The first predominant one reason is, it is very important for human survival without water people cannot survive, it is basic need for living a life. clean water prevents water deadly waterborne illness like, cholera, diarrhea and typhoid etc. if people are access clean water their homes, they are not faces any problems. Water must be free from harmful germs which have adverse effect on children and their families. for examples, India is diverse country. in many areas of India needs to be take care because some of villages in cities suffering from lots of water borne diseases due to water , the water they are using it is not good in taste , not good for their body and also good for their household chords. dirty water supply makes people life in trouble so this is the reasons why clean water supply is each person rights.
Furthermore, there is one more reasons why every house must have water supply without paying any cost of it. The cost of water should not force families to sacrifice other basic needs like food , shelter and medicine income. So many people have 3% of household income. its hard for people to pay extra money for water. Each person needs a continuous sufficient supply 50 to 100 litre per day for personal and domestic uses. for example, lots of country are not giving water free people must have to pay water bills for using water, it makes people life more difficult if they are going outside they have to pay or either they using at home.
In conclusion, i am strongly believe that water have to be free or every each person because clean water supplies is person right. goverment should have to take care of them because it is a matter of their health and needs.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas regarding health benefits and economic burden are relevant and supported with examples, such as the mention of waterborne diseases and the impact on household income. However, some arguments are under-developed; for instance, the claim about household income percentages is unclear, and the link between the examples and the main argument could be more explicitly stated. The response covers all parts of the task, but the development of ideas lacks the depth required for a higher band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. Additionally, there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as the phrase 'take care of them' in the conclusion, which lacks a specific antecedent. While the overall progression is coherent, the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There is an attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'waterborne illness', 'survival', and 'domestic uses'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'i am strongly accord to this notion' instead of 'I strongly agree with this notion' and 'household chords' instead of 'household chores'. These errors do not impede communication, but they limit the range and precision of the language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every house should have a water supply is provide'), article usage, and punctuation errors. For example, 'if people are access clean water their homes, they are not faces any problems' contains multiple errors that disrupt the flow. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band score.
