Student answer (Band 6.5)
We all know that purified water is a general human right. So every house should have a water supply that is provided free of charge. In my opinion I completely agree with this statement because clean water can safe people from diseases and everyone can drink pure water without investment .
One of the main reason is that people can drink clean water which is very significant for health. Where clean water is a basic human right people have to have a source to drink pure water . When people have an access of net and clean water to drink it can keep their health disease free . Various disease for example, typhoyed, hepatitise can causes by impure water so government should take step for provide free water to every house that will protect people from water related diseases.
Another compelling reason is that every categories people can get pure water if government provide free of charge . There are many people they have not enough money to buy pure water therefore water supply should free for every home. It will be helpful for poor people they can have clean water and be aware from water related disease . There are many rural area where plenty of people collect water from pond and river for their daily uses for instance, drinking, cooking , both which is not hygenic. Therefore every house should have a clean water source and these water supply will be free.
In conclusion , water is very important for a human life especially pure water . every house should have a pure water source to ensure their healthy life .Also every stages people can use pure water if it provide free.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding health benefits and economic accessibility are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the point about rural areas is a good example, but it is not fully explored in terms of the practical implications of government-funded infrastructure. The conclusion is a bit simplistic and does not effectively synthesize the main points. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more nuanced reasoning and perhaps acknowledge potential counter-arguments, such as the economic burden on the state, to demonstrate a more balanced and sophisticated perspective.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a central theme. There is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'One of the main reason is', 'Another compelling reason', and 'In conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'every stages people' or 'be aware from water related disease'. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing and repetitive sentence structures. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is precise would help the essay flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is somewhat limited and repetitive. You use basic terms like 'clean water', 'pure water', and 'free of charge' frequently. There are also some noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'safe people' (instead of 'save'), 'typhoyed' (spelling), and 'hepatitise' (spelling). The attempt to use more academic vocabulary is limited. To improve, focus on using a wider range of synonyms and more precise collocations related to public policy and health, while ensuring correct spelling and usage.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay displays a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('every categories people can get', 'government should take step'), article usage, and preposition errors ('aware from' instead of 'aware of'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are persistent and affect the overall fluency of the writing. To achieve a higher band, you need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction and reducing the frequency of errors in tense and pluralization.
