Student answer (Band 6.0)
Utilize clean water is a fundamental rights so, each and every house should have a water supply that is provided free of cost. I partially agree with this statement and my reasons for agreements are discussed in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, nowadays, according to some people Basic rights like water is provided in free of cost. There are many reasons such poor people take water also it is helps in their basic needs like drinking, washing the clothes and other reasons. For instance, in some country people not affordable to water because government gain tax and some rupees on it due to this reason many people have not enough water as well as in some places farmers are not grow their field or crops properly. Furthermore, water is our basic needs therefore people should be try to save water. As a result, water is supplied to other states or village therefore people drinking water without no any extra pay for it and some women are not go far from their village for water.
on the other hand, government provide free water to people at that time means people waste it and one of that reason public authority gain tax and bills on the water. For example, many individuals always open the tap in bathroom and they take bath at that time they should not off tap due these reasons government gain tax on it. Moreover, if pubic authority allow to free water at that time they face many financial issues because water is founded by many companies in the earth and fresh water is available in vest deep in the earth as well as public authority try to convert sea water in the fresh water, it is very expensive to them.
In conclusion, government get clean water to public because it is essential to people because it helps in many conditions. therefore I choose yes

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument, though the position is somewhat inconsistent. While you state you 'partially agree' in the introduction, the conclusion leans heavily toward the government providing free water without addressing the counter-argument previously raised. The ideas are relevant, such as the mention of water wastage and the cost of desalination, but they are often under-developed. For instance, the point about farmers is mentioned but not clearly linked to the argument for free water. To improve, ensure your position is clear throughout the entire essay and provide more detailed, logical explanations for each point raised.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'at that time' and 'due these reasons' are used repetitively and sometimes incorrectly, which disrupts the flow of ideas. The transition between the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion is present but lacks sophistication. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'nevertheless') and ensure that referencing (using pronouns or synonyms to refer back to previous ideas) is clear and precise.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'things', 'reasons', and 'people'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'vest deep in the earth' (likely meaning 'vast') and 'water is founded by many companies'. These errors occasionally make the meaning slightly unclear. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to economics, government policy, and environmental issues. Avoid repeating the same words in close proximity and focus on using words in their correct context to express your ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences often contain grammatical errors. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'farmers are not grow'), article usage (e.g., 'in some country'), and prepositions. Additionally, sentence fragments and run-on sentences occur, such as 'Utilize clean water is a fundamental rights so...'. These errors are frequent and sometimes cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and work on the correct use of tenses and pluralization.
