Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the modern era, all people deserve net and clean water so that they consume it easily. As per my ventage author did their work very "punctually" because almost all people consume clean water due to heavy water cleaner system which was built by allocated government.
On the very first hand, on the earth we have 70% of water and only 30% residential land. So their 70% water is not for drink because this water is salty. If we want to convert it into able to drink so we need heavy mechanism with large room. Furthermore each and every people can not afford that kind of mechanism. But for the citizen towards government built this type of mechanism in every city so people can consume clean water.
On the other hand, consume fresh and clean water is a basic human right so author should give it free. Moreover, government should organize water awareness tour in allocated city so due to that people will be aware and understand the importance of water. If they start to give free water of local people like; workers, vendors and that kind of people who work on stress so it will really a help full for them in all season. However, each and every people deserve clean water so government should build a water line on local stress and homes so people can drink it easily.
To conclude, access to clean water is a basic human right and this work nicely did by author and persons but give it free is more important thing because every people deserve it be a free.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the provision of free water as a human right. However, the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. The student mentions 'author' repeatedly, which is irrelevant to the prompt, and the arguments regarding desalination and government responsibility are somewhat disjointed. The position is generally clear, but the supporting points lack depth and logical progression. The essay tends to over-generalize, and some parts, such as the mention of 'water awareness tours,' do not directly address the core issue of whether water should be provided free of charge. To improve, the student should focus on providing more relevant, well-explained arguments that directly support their stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by confusing phrasing and unclear referencing. While some cohesive devices like 'Furthermore' and 'On the other hand' are used, they are often applied mechanically or inappropriately. The relationship between sentences is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition from water statistics to government mechanisms is abrupt. The use of 'author' throughout the text is confusing and disrupts the coherence of the argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the overall structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate, which occasionally impedes communication. Phrases like 'net and clean water,' 'heavy water cleaner system,' and 'work on stress' are non-standard and reflect a lack of control over collocation. The repetition of basic words and the misuse of terms like 'author' (likely intended to mean 'authority' or 'government') demonstrate a restricted range. To reach a higher band, the student needs to focus on learning collocations and using more precise, academic vocabulary. The current level of lexical control is insufficient to express complex ideas clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with articles ('the government'), subject-verb agreement ('each and every people can not'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are awkward or grammatically incomplete, such as 'If they start to give free water of local people like; workers, vendors and that kind of people who work on stress so it will really a help full for them.' These errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are almost always faulty. A focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors is essential.
