Student answer (Band 5.0)

Water is the other name of life. Every one need its for survive. Its is true that access to clean water is a basic human right. In this essay, I will discuss way I am agree with the statement of every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.

To start with, free water supply in every home has many advantages. For example, studies carried out in 2020 by the European Human Right commission revealed that the out come of free clean water supply in Germany are very positive. Its decreased water base disease rapidly in Germany compared to when clean water supply was not free.

On the other sides, free clean water supplies in every home also had other economic benefits. When every home got free water supply by the government than its help to save money while government also achieve some economic benefits like that have healthy society. In addition to that, it can also be mentioned that there are a few things like free water can help poor people to improve their daily life. They can spend their money on food, education and medical treatment instead of paying water bills. As a result, people can live better life and the country can become more developed.

Considering the pros of it. to sum up, it can be mentioned that I am in favor of this view. I think my explanation above will help the readers to understand, way I am agree with the statement.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The essay addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position in favor of free water supply. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic benefits and the impact on poor families, the arguments remain superficial and lack depth. The example regarding the European Human Rights Commission is vague and lacks sufficient detail to be fully convincing. To improve, you should expand on your points by explaining the 'how' and 'why' behind your claims, perhaps by discussing the role of government taxation or the long-term public health implications in more detail. The response is consistent in its stance, but the supporting evidence needs more substance to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To start with', 'On the other sides', and 'In addition to that'. However, some of these are used mechanically or incorrectly, such as 'On the other sides' (which should be 'On the other hand') and 'way I am agree' (which is grammatically incorrect and disrupts flow). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the transition between the economic benefits and the impact on poor people could be smoother. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will enhance the overall flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite basic and repetitive. You use phrases like 'water base disease' (should be 'water-borne diseases') and 'out come' (should be 'outcome'). There is a lack of more sophisticated or academic vocabulary that would demonstrate a wider range. To improve, try to incorporate more precise terminology related to the topic, such as 'socio-economic welfare', 'universal access', or 'public infrastructure'. Additionally, be careful with word forms and collocations, as errors like 'water base disease' can occasionally hinder the clarity of your message.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the essay that affect readability. Examples include 'Every one need its for survive' (should be 'Everyone needs it to survive'), 'way I am agree' (should be 'why I agree'), and 'When every home got free water supply by the government than its help' (should be 'When every home receives free water supply from the government, it helps'). You rely mostly on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors in subject-verb agreement or word order. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb tenses and articles will significantly improve your score.
