Student answer (Band 5.0)
In my opinion, this topic is very interesting because water is a basic need for every human. Humans can't survive without water. So clear water is the most important and basic right of a human. So let's discuss the main reason: if the people drink dirty water, it will cause many diseases like hepatitis, TB, and other life-threatening diseases. which is very dangerous for human health. It's the government's responsibility to provide the clear water to every human because it's their right.
In our country it is a kind of trend to provide more and more important sources to only rich people and big societies. because they can afford and pay well for their lifestyle. But it's a very poor thing in our country that a person with normal pay can't afford these fasicilities.
So it is very important for the government to take some steps for the poor people so they can also have the same water and other sources free of charge.
Then they protect their children and parents from major diseases like TB, etc
For example, the government should make a big water plant for the needy and poor people so they can borrow water from that plant free of charge. it is the government's right to treat all the people of the country equally so everyone has the equal right, and every one stay safe make pipes clean for water supply its a responsibilty to clean that pipes which is used for water supply its very important for every human.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position in favor of free water supply. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention health risks like TB and hepatitis, the arguments remain somewhat superficial and repetitive. The suggestion of a 'big water plant' is a relevant example, but it lacks depth in terms of economic or logistical feasibility. To improve, you should expand on the implications of your argument, perhaps discussing the role of taxation or the potential impact on public health budgets, rather than simply restating that water is a basic right. The essay stays on topic, but the lack of detailed supporting evidence keeps the score in the lower range.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between sentences is often disjointed. You rely heavily on simple connectors like 'So' and 'But' at the start of sentences, which makes the progression feel mechanical. There is a lack of sophisticated cohesive devices to link ideas logically. For instance, the transition between the health argument and the government responsibility argument is abrupt. Additionally, referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the use of 'these fasicilities' without a clear antecedent. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in addition to') to create a smoother narrative flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. You frequently use simple words like 'important', 'basic', and 'good'. There are also some errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'fasicilities' instead of 'facilities'. While the meaning is generally clear, there is little attempt to use less common or more precise vocabulary that would demonstrate a higher level of language proficiency. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more academic collocations and topic-specific terminology related to public policy, infrastructure, and socioeconomic issues, while ensuring correct spelling and usage.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies primarily on simple sentence structures. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, they are often punctuated incorrectly or contain grammatical errors, such as 'which is very dangerous for human health' (a sentence fragment) and 'every one stay safe make pipes clean' (run-on sentence). Subject-verb agreement and article usage (e.g., 'the clear water' vs 'clear water') are inconsistent. To improve, you should practice combining simple sentences into complex ones using subordinating conjunctions (e.g., 'although', 'because', 'which') and focus on ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and a correctly conjugated verb.
