Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is widely argued that access to clean water is basic human right. I strongly agree this is because that is a fundamental rights of every individual that acquire a clean water without any charges because it is give so many benefits it makes people life healthy and gives social equality to everyone.
To begin with, providing access to clean water is make people lives healthy. This is because safe drinking water prevent waterborn diseases such as cholera and typhoid. If people can not afford clean water , so they forced to drink water in polluted places. Aa a result, goverment end up with providing healthcar aminities to people and than they give clean water. This is not only for the good health but also for the equality.
Furthermore, gives people to the social equality. Water is not luxury product but it is important for daily life because it is necessity for drinking, cooking, and maintain hygien . Low-income families can not pay high amount for the water so goverment should provied enough supply of water to houshold. For instence, in many countries provied minimum supply of water to without paying while charge for addition use.
In conclusion, I completely believe that give clean water is important for
health and fairness so that people can not face problem in their routin life. nevertheless charging for the excenssive use of the water is prectica way it is overcomes water problem in rular area where water servies is not prividing reguler.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. While you mention health and social equality, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. Furthermore, the response falls short of the 250-word minimum requirement (248 words), which negatively impacts the task achievement score. To improve, ensure you fully develop your supporting points with more detailed explanations and ensure you meet the minimum word count to avoid a penalty.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at logical progression. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the awkward transition 'Aa a result, goverment end up with...'. Some sentences are disjointed, and the flow between ideas is occasionally interrupted by grammatical errors. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'goverment', 'aminities', 'hygien', 'provied', 'instence', 'routin', 'excenssive', 'prectica', 'rular', 'reguler') and issues with word choice (e.g., 'give so many benefits' instead of 'provides numerous benefits'). The range of vocabulary is limited, and the frequent spelling mistakes occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Expanding your vocabulary and proofreading for spelling are essential steps for improvement.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently marred by grammatical errors. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'access... is make people lives'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'that acquire a clean water'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with commas and sentence boundaries. To reach a higher band, you need to demonstrate better control over complex sentence structures and reduce the frequency of basic grammatical errors.
