Student answer (Band 5.0)
In all over world there are some basic necessities of human, and water takes first place among all the basic requirements to live. I strongly agree with that every individual deserve clean water at no cost.
Firstly, Water is the one of the natural element we received from god, which is the important thing to human live. However, 70% water is there on a world, but may be not all water is drinable, to survive as a human being we required a free water supply to home. There are so many countries are there which bills to house owner according to their water use in particular month, government of that country may apply this rule to cantrol a clean water westage, But as we know merits comes with some demerits, some times it happens that every house owners can not afford that water bill and feel lack of water in some occassions.
on the other hand, we have no good enough sorces and amount of clean water to supply at free of cost, also at free of cost water not every individual value of that facilities and waste it unnecessorily, governmet and scientist are trying to identify more resources and finding a way to increase a amount of clean water. some expiriments are ongoing for the same.
To conclude, as water is the basic human need to survive and not every individule are capable to afford water bill, i largely agree with free clean water supply at home.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is limited. While you mention the importance of water and the financial burden on households, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. The response is also slightly under the 250-word minimum, which negatively impacts the task achievement score. To improve, you should expand on your reasoning with more detailed explanations or real-world examples, such as how specific government subsidies or public-private partnerships might function. Ensure that your arguments are fully explored rather than just stated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the transition 'However, 70% water is there on a world'. Some sentences are disjointed, and the logical flow between ideas could be smoother. The referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to track the progression of your argument. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'nevertheless') and ensuring they are used in the correct context would significantly improve the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'drinable', 'cantrol', 'westage', 'sorces', 'expiriments') and word choice issues (e.g., 'natural element we received from god' instead of 'natural resource'). You tend to repeat basic words like 'water' and 'free'. To improve, focus on learning collocations and more academic vocabulary related to social issues and economics. Proofreading for spelling errors is essential, as these frequent mistakes distract the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every individual deserve'), article usage (e.g., 'on a world'), and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar limits the score. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and sentence construction. Try to incorporate more complex structures, such as conditional sentences or relative clauses, but ensure they are used accurately.
