One of the most controversial issues in modern society is clean water which is basic human right.People deserve a healthy life and for that clean water is very essential . In this essay I will examine both sides of this argument and provide my overall opinion .
Firstly, for every residents clean water is very important part of their life because it's save people from health disease . If people drink unclean water it's directly affect they're health and they will suffer from many disease like ( food poison, cholera etc) .As a result , people should drink clean water which provide them a healthy and hydration life. Another good impact of clean water is affordable for every family units if it will be free . Every one including poor people also can get a good life by drinking a clean water which is very important for them . If they can get this free it assist them very well because they don't have that much money for buy water .For instance , poor people also can drink a clean water and can get a healthy life.
However , if clean water is free for all it will affect our economy . People abuse the advantage and waste a lot of water will affect the economy and environment . Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. You have identified both sides of the argument, discussing the humanitarian aspect and the economic consequences. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding economic impact is supported by a personal anecdote rather than a broader analysis of government fiscal policy or infrastructure costs. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting points are more fully extended with logical reasoning or more general examples rather than relying on personal observations. The conclusion clearly restates your position, which is a strength.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Another good impact', 'However', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of cohesive devices is basic. There are instances where referencing is slightly unclear, such as in the sentence 'People abuse the advantage and waste a lot of water will affect the economy', which lacks a proper connecting structure. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on simple, repetitive phrasing such as 'clean water is very important' and 'get a healthy life'. There are also some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'food poison' (should be 'food poisoning') and 'Government economy will be destroy' (should be 'The government's economy will be destroyed'). To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and precise terminology related to economics and public policy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('it's save people', 'it's directly affect'), article usage ('a basic human right' vs 'a essential thing'), and pluralization ('every residents'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and article usage would be a significant step forward.
