Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays access to clean water is a basic human right every house should have a water supply that is provided free of cost.I agree with this type of view or extent and after that i will give many reason to support my answer.

Firstly, the most crucial reason is that clean water is basic part of humans life because everyone need water for their survival .For example my uncle lived in big city life is busy and noisy there and water is most valuable part of their life they purchase their water and then it use for different kinds of purposes.

Secondly, the most important reason is that water is healthful for our body individuals use water to keep maintain their health update. For example government of different countries set a department of water for citizens known as wasa department this company also responsible for supply a clean water to homes in different city peoples pay for all this.

On the other hand many kinds of persons are disagree with type pf idea because they thought they pay for all this and this method is wrong. For example is people are poor they do not pay for clean water as a result they do not use clean water for free.

As sum up,clean water is basic human right it is true according to my experience and i will give many reason in upper paragraphs as well as every home water supply and is almost free of charge but this idea is not applicable in our country because people sale a lot water to people in big societies.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a position, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention that water is a basic human right, the supporting arguments are under-developed and sometimes confusing. For instance, the example regarding the 'wasa department' is unclear and does not directly support the argument for free water; instead, it describes a paid service. The conclusion is also somewhat contradictory, as you state the idea is 'not applicable' in your country, which weakens your initial agreement. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, clear reason that directly supports your stance, and provide more logical, relevant examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'after that i will give many reason' and 'As sum up' are not standard academic transitions. The logical flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing, making it difficult for the reader to follow your argument. The referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as the transition between the second and third paragraphs. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') more naturally and ensure that each sentence connects logically to the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic words like 'good', 'use', and 'part'. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'keep maintain their health update' and 'people sale a lot water'. These errors occasionally make the meaning unclear. To improve, you should aim to use more precise vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'essential utility', 'subsidized', 'public infrastructure', or 'socio-economic necessity'. Expanding your range of collocations and paying closer attention to word forms will help you convey your ideas with greater precision and sophistication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('everyone need water'), missing articles ('in big city'), and incorrect sentence structure. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several missing spaces after commas and periods. While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often faulty, which can impede the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb. Additionally, proofread your work to correct simple errors in punctuation and capitalization, as these frequent slips significantly impact the overall quality of your writing.
