Student answer (Band 5.0)
Yes, Obviously I'm agree with the statement to have a basic clean water right to everyone and, I'm not at all in favour of or to charge water, because the water is the human basic all day need, not only human its also a basic need of animals, birds too.
So, there should not be any charges too it and every one should be getting water free itself, Water is very important to any body language because without food an person can survive, but without water he/she not at all can survive will be dead soon, and my request to all the people and goverment is that goverment should give advance water supply to the new home buyers or renters and for the people, I'm requesting just to help with water to needy people or the poor ones with both food & Water itself.
Now, let's take an example one day i was just on my bike and i was heading somewhere i saw an girl who was begging at the signal in an high degree temperature and she going for other peoples for begging money, and then she was coming to me she suddenly fell down on the road and then me and my friend picked her and splashed some cold water on her face and slowly she opened her eyes and then she drinked the whole 1ltr bottle and that was also my kindness day by helping her, In, short the girl was dehydrated cuz she lives on roads so there is no water line or any source of water so that much the water is Important in the daily life of any human, animal, etc.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of free water. However, the development of ideas is limited. The argument relies heavily on a personal anecdote rather than exploring the broader socio-economic or political implications of providing free water. The discussion is somewhat repetitive, focusing primarily on the biological necessity of water rather than the logistics or feasibility of the proposal. To improve, you should provide more balanced arguments, perhaps considering the economic challenges governments might face in providing free utilities, and then refuting them to strengthen your position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a formal structure. It is written as one long, run-on paragraph, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. There is a lack of cohesive devices; sentences are often linked by simple conjunctions like 'and' or 'so', rather than sophisticated transition words. The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between the general argument and the personal anecdote is abrupt. To improve, you must organize your response into clear paragraphs: an introduction, body paragraphs with distinct points, and a conclusion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite basic and often misused. For example, the phrase 'any body language' is used incorrectly to mean 'any human being', and 'advance water supply' is unclear in this context. There is also significant repetition of words like 'water', 'need', and 'people'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the misuse of collocations limit the score. You should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to public policy, utilities, and socio-economic issues to express your ideas more accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('she drinked'), sentence fragments, and incorrect word order. The sentence structures are predominantly simple or poorly connected compound sentences. There is a lack of complex grammatical structures, and punctuation is often misused or absent, leading to run-on sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and using punctuation to separate distinct ideas effectively.
